I found a place close to my Mum in Kent called L8nights they do mainly evening and prom but have branched out to weddings.I did see some places in Leeds where I'm based which also said they hired but didn't look into them. I just googled it until I found somewhere.
I think I am going to go for a headpiece/fascinator with a small veil. I've not found any shoes I like yet but I'm hoping to maybe get something later in the year in the sales - there are usually sales in the department store bridal sections in September once "wedding" season is over so hoping to get my small BM shoes then too.
I've been trying to decide on our music for the ceremony just stuck on what to walk in to - we are having a female singer/guitarist. I also need to decide on the readings I've been on hitched and confetti so have some ideas. Anyone else got any good sources for readings/poems ?I'm having a civil ceremony so nothing religious allowed.0 -

Thanks for that, just one thing though does your dress need altering at all??? Only I had to buy my shoes so I can have my dress altered, it needs taking up a lot.
I keep looking at veils and stuff and can't decideI', swaying towards a birdcage veil but don't know if that's me, I may have to try a few on to get the idea.
I'll keep my eye out on poems etc for you:heart2: 'Tied the Knot' Saturday 9th October 2010 :heart2::blushing: Member of Diet Club October 2010 Brides and Grooms :blushing:Starting Weight: 14 stone 10.8lbsCurrent Weight: 13 stone 2lbsTotal loss: 21.8lbs :j0 -
Well I tried on a few dresses and when I first tried the 'one' on we couldn't get it fastened but I really liked it so we went back to it and it fastened second time (after a knee in my back and 2 people pulling lol) and I could still breathe. So am supposed to be losing a few pounds but apart from that it's perfect, once I find my shoes and headress etc I'm going back to try it on again and they said they could take it up on the hem if it was too long. They were really nice and once you've put your deposit down no-one else is allowed to hire the dress before your date and if you put a bigger deposit down no-one can even try it on. I suppose it depends on the dress really as to how much alterations they are willing to make .0

 Are you not leaving it too late??? It takes around 6 months to order a dress from a bridal shop (well that's what 3 shops have told me):heart2: 'Tied the Knot' Saturday 9th October 2010 :heart2::blushing: Member of Diet Club October 2010 Brides and Grooms :blushing:Starting Weight: 14 stone 10.8lbsCurrent Weight: 13 stone 2lbsTotal loss: 21.8lbs :j0 -

H2B and I are getting married on 9th October 2010. We only set the date a couple of months ago.:o
H2B's mum and sister are helping (more like taking over) and I feel it would just have been less stressful to do everything ourselves.:o2019 Wins
