I'll second that: no dress, meal not organised, no bridesmaid or best man, no invitations, no finalised guest list, etc etc. Am I the most disorganised on the thread?

sapphirering, nothing wrong with being disorganised now. my sis had o venue until two weeks before the wedding. she found a lovely restaurant five mins from the town hall and they did a lovely hot fork buffet for her and my bil.

she even waited til last inute to get her dress (asian bridal lengha) which was only six weeks before the big day so it can all be done.

i am panicking a little of late as i cannot get hold of my local vicar to sort my banns. my own is aware of the date etc so that is all fine but i have no real knowledge of banns and how they work so not sure how worried i should be. i might speak to my vicar on sunday about it...

Ceremony
Banns -“ Still to do
Church ceremony - will pay once banns sorted.
Wedding rings - still to buy
Transport - (bus) provisionally booked. Awaiting forms so deposit can be paid.
Reception
Venue hire - included
Catering (reception guests) - deposit paid. Tasting in Aug
Catering (evening guests) - menu agreed. Tasting in Aug
Drink - inc with meal
Wedding cake - sister is making this.
Music - still thinking.“ may have Indian music playing in the background.
Entertainment - H2b is organising the DJ
Photographer -“ Still undecided.
Table decorations -(candles, ribbons) Making myself
Hire of linen, china, glassware - Might have chair covers (£225 inc set up)
Flowers
Bridal bouquet - making my own.
Ceremony flowers - not convinced I need them. May change my mind
Bridesmaids flowers – need basket and petals. CBM to have wrist coursage
Buttonholes and corsages - Making my own. Unless mil offers.
Stationery
Invitations - almost done. will be ready to send this weekend.
Placecards - inc with venue
Menus - inc with venue
Tables names/numbers - Gonna be named after Artists (turner, van gough, dali, blake, da vinci, michaelangelo, etc)
Seating plan - will make my own
Fashion
Brides dress - DONE.
Veil and hair decorations All bm's will have same tiara. I am still thinking about a veil.
Shoes -“ still looking but have an 'emergency'™ pair if required.
Lingerie - done
Brides accessories/jewellery - gold jewellery
Hair and make up - still looking – I will do my own makeup.
Bridesmaid dresses - Got the kiddies ones. My CBM will have hers in Aug
Grooms/male attendants attire - gotta find something FAST.
Bridesmaid accessories - won't be a lot. lol.
Gifts
For bridemaids - getting a special mention. CBM will get something as a token.
For male attendants - We are buying suits and so that is one of the gifts. The other will be a small token gift. Maybe cufflinks or whatever.
Gifts for family members - Thinking of getting a nice watch for my daddy but then we would have to get something equally nice for his daddy. I know it sounds mean but seeing as my daddy is paying for XYZ, I think it would be rude if we didn't get him something nice but i am really irked at the idea of having to buy something for the FiL as i have no idea what i am thanking him for (other than h2b?). Any advice gratefully received.. lol perhaps i should leave that to h2b to sort?

First night/honeymoon
First night hotel WE HAVE A ROOM!
Honeymoon - using my airmiles to have a mini moon immediately following the wedding but having a proper honeymoon in Jan.
Other expenses
Wedding co-ordinator - included. Also, the hotel use staff as the toast master. I would have loved a proper toast master but doesn't go with our theme

Less than 5 months. Dear lord, still so much to do.

OH still does not have a best man, nor has he had his hair cut. I'm beyond caring to be honest. However, not in the bad sense. I love the silly sod so much that his hair wouldn't really bother me (he's not to know that though) and not having a best man is not the end of the world.

If one more person asks me what I want to do for my hen do, I will go insane though as I have no idea (and wouldn't be gutted if I didn't have anything beyond a BBQ in August time to be honest).

oh my god, im not ready to start counting down yet, im pretty organised but there are till a few things stressing me out. like havent sorted transport, and hairdresser let me down this week :mad: and have tried three others who are all busy, and two others who were way too expensive, am getting very upset!!!! venue has added a random plating charge and said they cant take it off, now not responding to my messages. i want to find a tiny brooch to hold up my sisters sash (as dont want to tie it in a bow) but i cant find one. got to sort invites this w/e as keep putting it off as we are both studying so have been concentrating on that. and, my very expensive wedding shoes are still uncomfortable, and i have been wearing them lots, am so worried that i have wasted loads of money :(:(

Trying - i used the budgeter on YAYW to make up that list and so glad i did cos they have got rid now. it has been a very good friend to me. there are bits i have removed but if you think of stuff, add it in. re haircuts, m h2b is growing his hair for our wedding and he keeps threatening to have it cut so i have offered to pay for him to have a trim at a posh hairdressers in the hope of buying some time. will soon see but anyhow he chops his locks, there will be hell to pay! lol

bubble - sorry to hear of your probs. are you looking for mobiles or from shop? or both even? if i think of anything, i will let you know. i am avoiding thinking about it all at the mo. lol

20 weeks oh my God ~ we've got a family holiday in 8 weeks, so it won't be long at all when we get back ~ AND we're going all inclusive, so I'll have to lose a few stone in 11 weeks :rotfl::rotfl:
