Welcome! Glad you have subscribed. I've been a bit quite on the debt-busting front but now the birthdays been and gone I'm back on form! :)

    Keep popping in! :j

  • Good Morning Money-Savers!

Ok, so I'm 23 now, and to me today is like a new year, as it's a new year in my life.

So I'm feeling all refreshed and raring to go.

I am now going to make more of an effort daily. I'm doing very well with MSE but was letting other things slip.
For example, I would leave the house without straightening my hair, ironing my clothes and putting make up on. This is NOT like me. So now every morning I will make an effort.
Two days running so far so good. I will also try to do SOME exercise everyday. Even if just a 30 minute walk.

Ok, so in MSE news, I did my weekly shop, via a list, and it cost me just under £13.
Result!!!! Very pleased with that. :)
I am now going to try to make that last for as long as possible.

I have been sticking to my pledge of making sandwiches for work and am also using my meal plan. This is a first for me.
I'm noticing my habits and views actually changing, which is really exciting! :)

Anyhoo think that's it for now. I will be putting up some goals and joining some challenges later on this evening.

    hey hun

I'm glad you're getting back to your old self. it's hard isn't it to keep up with the money saving and debt busting along with doing normal things. I've been doing the same thing, I haven't been on a sunbed for ages nor have i dyed my hair..... hmmmm or shaved my legs for that matter.... lovely just as well OH is away. I too need to start making a little more of an effort.

what challenges are you thinking of joining?? I'm thinking of the no spend day one and the 100 day, im sure I can go without buying chocolate or magazines for that long....

keep up the good work hun you're doing exceptionally well.

    Keep smiling

  • I need to make more of an effort with myself too, I've never been one for makeup every day, but my hair looks in terrible condition, I might treat myself to a trim and then try and keep it nice!!

Glad to hear your 'new year' has started well!
