    Hello all,

I had major clanging when picked up DD from playgroup, she was tired and refused to leave as she hadn't finished her game. So I carried this screaming thing into the car and thought that I so want a drink tonight and didn't I promise that to myself earlier this week. However this week has been a bit of a turning point to me as I have learned how I can relax and chill out without a drink. I do still need some kind of treat to look forward to. On a way to home I went to the shop (not to the one that sells my normal poison) and got some doritos and salsa to go with some ginger ale while I will be watching Strictly tonight. Should have enough left for tomorrow night's show as well.

I didn't think that I drank that much (1-2 litres of sherry per week) but now that I have been 18 days AF in September please YM (and 2 in end of August) people keep saying that I have lost weight but I think it is the puffiness in my face that must have gone down also I feel that my shoes are getting bigger . Has anyone else had this experience?

No, my feet are getting smaller, the shoes bigger. What comes to your question I found this really nice fortified wine made by C00p and one litre bottle cost just over £4.- it is stronger than wine but not as strong as spirits, it is cheapish and I learned how much to drink as not to feel awful in the morning. So I sort of got addicted to it. If I was bad, it lasted me two evenings if good, three or even four. Please this is not an advert and no I won't ever be able to drink that particular substance again even as just a social drink. I think I will be able to have a drink socially if I stick to cider and wine, but not quite yet.

Sorry I write in short hand alot - not regular short hand just my own :)

A spy you say - moi?

No no no - I just live at the edge of the UK on a tiny remote island for no reason at all, not a fugitive or hiding me -- no no no

Definately NOT a spy - uerm - honest

Nothing to do with 15 flights out a day from here be in London in just over 2 hours to HQ - sorry I mean the shops :)

Translation of above is 'my other half is off the ferry boat later tonight and i am going to go and pick him up after I had my tea (fish and chips) and had a sneaky quick bath.'
