  • Morning all!

Glad to see you're all doing well. I'm sorry I haven't been in touch for a bit, I've had quite a lot of real life going on (though most of it's been good :).)

Put me down for 27 AF days. I never, ever thought I'd write that!

Heath those pig's ears, my dog loves them, he is now denied such delicacies at they demand £1 a time round here. Obviously now forms a part of a celeb chefs menu...

    Bows in morning all
Feel like been hit by a truck - :)

Another AF for me - gets big stick ready for BHB :)

And I am lookingn into buying a chainsaw so watch out the sticks may get bigger.......

PS books I read one - alcoholic mother hides keys to shed in garden when sober, desperately tries to find them later in the evening when the bell clang mightily - irish story - will try and remember it later on - woman falls in love with someone who when courting eats chips out of her knickers......I know its early sorry.

Otherwise Time Travellers Wife is an amazing book - film was excellent but the book is very very good.

Or 'Smashed' - american girl - biog I think - about her alcoholism

    Oh heck :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: :D;)

Have just contacted NORCAS, our local alcohol place again asking to see them again so should be whipped into submission by you on one side and them on the other :D

Only trouble is, they normally have a waiting list. No idea how long it is at the moment. Hopefully not too long. Have also made another appointment with the Doctors, but its with a locum which will probably be a waste of time tomorrow

Talktalk have still not fixed my phone line so everything still slower than dial up!

So sorry - no idea what everyone is up to!
    Hope you are all OK

That book is brilliant! It is one of the best I have read!

Can't comment on the film as I haven't seen it and usually when I've read the book I don't like the adaptations for the films :D

  • Good morning all :hello:. I have been away for the weekend so haven't caught up with the thread yet. I hope all is well for everyone or at least we are all 'hanging in there'.
I was AF on Friday so that's my 2 for September please YM. The rest of the weekend wasn't great alcohol wise. On Sunday morning I felt as if Michael Flatley was giving a command performance on my head! But this is a brand new week and I'm really going to try to get one more AF day before the end of the month.
    Have a good day.
