  • Hi all,

At last! One AF! Sleep not too good but at least wokw up not feeling rubbish with the awful taste of booze in mouth! And my bedroom only smells of 'maleness' (you gals will know what I mean!!) not booze!

At least I don't feel anxious this am & could drive NOW if needed...so planning a day out! Catch you all later.
  • Nice one DM!

    Enjoy your day out!

I feel more bright eyed and busy tailed instead of groggy and it feels good! Will not drink for the rest of the month and then decide about Oct.

Forgot how much I prefer myself when I stop drinking

  • Was led into the land of temptation to go and buy a bottle of wine to put half into a casserole and then leave half a bottle for what? Probably drink!

Decided not to go to the supermarket and make do with what I have for the casserole and forgo the alcohol.

Making it another AFD today and tonight! Saved by the power of thought today!

Scraping in to make 15 AFD today, meaning if I stay AF for the rest of the month I will have missed my target by 4 days. Which is a lot better than how I thought I would do a week ago

  • Hi everybody :j

I'll be up to 22 AFD's after tonight, thanks, YM. I hope you had a good time in London.

I'm going to miss my target by one day - 25 out of 26 target - not too bad I suppose.

I've got the Marian Keyes book from the library - it really is a huge book in hardback!

Have a great day everybody and a good week

  • Hi Im back :hello:

Just going to catch up but I am absolutly cream crackered ( See cockney rhyming slang already ). Decided not to use the underground and walk as on the map it was only a smidging. 3 hours later arrived at hotel with feet the size of a small island :o Will not do that again.

Was not AF but did not go mad. £4.30 for a bottle of Stella in the theatre  Could buy a semi detached were I live for that.

Will update list and post about 8'ish. Off to catch up ;)
