Good luck to you too FUAS, I am so hoping that my OH goes out tonight. Usually that is a trigger for me, but if he's not here I can spend the night on here instead, I think I'm a bit frightened to drink cos my liver doesn't feel right  actually I'm embarrassed to say that it was hurting last night before and after I bought alcohol and I still continued to drink it

So, everyone, please give my OH going out vibes, lets hope his munchausen disease which has kept him flatlined on the sofa all week goes at some point this arvo (probably when his mate rings up to ask if he's up for a beer )

Oh also, DD1 is going out so I'll prob get myself chinese or summat and screw the cooking :rotfl:

Oh and summat else I didn't tell you all....DD1 has got a saturday job icon_fainting.gif&usg=AFQjCNGfHdDBiFfQE15tYmOiGXyCUm4yig she starts in 10 minutes, doing half day today, easing her in gently I s'pose

  • Good luck for tonight Jo,

Maybe it is the alcohol that is making your liver hurt and if you take some time off, it will give your liver a rest and then it should stop hurting all being well. Have you had it checked out by a Dr?

Alcohol is toxic to all parts of the body, funny for something we can buy freely and no restraint

  • Hmm you've set me off now about a chinese! I should be making either Toad in the Hole or Sausage casserole. However can't because I am as skint as they come until payday! Just need to remind myself it will be disapppointing!

Found them :T thanks for the reminder :)

It reminded me to take mine too. My milk thistle is the tincture which I think means that it is in alcohol, doesn't make much sense to me but I hope it did my liver some good.:p

I have read about those liver and gallbladder cleanses.

I know a woman that had cancer and she now eats totally vegan/ organic and recommends regular cleanses like that. I've never had the guts to do it myself.:o

Jo, glad you are feeling a bit better, I too am still on the better job hunt. It will happen.

  • Just remembered - not going out as I declared a No Spend Day so won't renage on this.

Right off to make Toad in the Hole and watch Hole in the Wall and listen to a Day in the Life for all the Holes in the Albert Hall

Good job I haven't had a drink if I am thinking like this!
