My liver hurts this morning, I feel pressure on my right side, front and back, I obviously can't drink anything anymore without it affecting my liver. I laid in bed last night and prayed to God to take me in the night, I'm sick of this, tired of struggling with it and don't want to spend the rest of my life battling with it, I've spent almost half of my life with this illness and it's finally drained everything out of me. Last night I wanted to fall asleep and not wake up. Obviously, I woke up  and now I feel numb and scared. Have no cravings to drink at the moment but know that I will later and it's like I'm just sat waiting for the inevitable everyday :(

    :(

Are you taking milk thistle? Saying that I always forget to take mine.

  • Morning all.

Jo - So sorry to hear you are feeling down Sweetie...try not to beat yourself up....I know its tough & I too have woken many times feeling really ashamed of myself for drinking when I know it will make me feel so bad physically in the morning. Like you I would soon forget by teatime & open the next bottle & the cycle would start all over again. If it helps I wrote down exactly how bad I felt & a note to myself that I would read at teatime to help my resolve....seemed to help me.

YM - have a good weekend in London. Hmmm that`ll be a test for you !

    Stay strong everyone.

  • Hugs Jo. Fay - very very curious about this liver cleansing business now! (and thanks for the bargainous scotrail offer).

Woke early today, unhungovered (is this the most beautiful word in the English language?). Strong coffee and the treat of a sticky bun for breakfast.

Just love waking in the morning and not being afraid to open my eyes - it's only been a week though so very early days.

Heath - just noticed from your sig that you've been AF since 2003 - that's brilliant.

    xx
