Good afternoon everyone.
Well done to everyone who is staying AF and hugs to those who are struggling, well done for hanging in there. Lurkio sorry to hear of the job loss hope something turns up soon.
Loving the Good King Wenceslas joke 115K :rotfl: it really cheered me up this morning.
I did not have a good day yesterday, worked late because of a gigantic c**k up (not mine but I had to clear it up:mad:). When I got home my husband had some sad news, a family member had died (an aunt who had been ill for ages but was not expected to die just yet). He put a huge glass of scotch in my hand and because it was there and I was shocked at the news I drank it. I followed it with at least a bottle of wine during the evening. To make matters worse, I didn't feel like cooking so we had a takeaway loaded with calories, salt and fat ( a fully loaded meat feast pizza). We are both trying to lose a bit of weight and my husband has high cholesteral and blood pressure so not good. Today I feel lumpy, lethargic and generally grungy. I am determined that today will be AF to fulfill my pledge for September and hopefully a couple more before the end of the month.
Madam Fay would you put me down for 10 AF days in October please? I'm aiming for at least 2 a week plus a couple more.
Sorry for the lengthy post, it just helped.

yeah - I know exactly what I WANNA do, Sir W..... if I thought I could survive/eat/etc and do it, I would.
Thanks all for your kind words. Sadly, I won't get anything better..... I will be taking a very large step backwards, methinks.....
still.... mustn't grumble...Neigh, neigh, and thrice neigh

Had a bikini wax once - NEVER again!!!
You are so much braver than me - lifts up jumper to reveal a yellow belly
I don't know why I feel the need to confess this...but...
I usually get shaved in the shower, always have done. Just seems less hassle that way cos everything is to hand - you're already soapy, the stubble is already warm and softened, etc etc etc.
Thats not the actual confession.
Four days ago after having a shave and finding myself bored and with a disposable razor in my hand....
for some unknown, bizarre, impulse driven reason...

I thought it would be a good idea to shave my 'man garden'
Mrs GP still finds it hysterical four days later.
I now feel like I have a hedgehog in my boxer shorts and can't stop scratching.
Everyone at work thinks I have lice.0 -

Hope you are OK, 40SM. My Mum is in and out of hospital at the moment, and it is so worrying, especially as my Dad is elderly now too, and goes to visit her on the bus every day. Big hugs to you m'dearie.
