Ooo snowy that's sounds really painful but great that you're home for Christmas. Good news about the AF though, every cloud etc etc
marru, a great big thank you for managing the scoring and swine flu at the same time :T Glad to hear you're picking up and on the way to enjoy your Christmas.
BB, have a great time at your 'do' tonight and great news that DS is home for the holiday.
Hello jo, 69chick, Miss P and anyone else lurking.
Hope everyone else is enjoying the lead up to Christmas. All well here, we seem to be in a little pocket of OK weather, slightly icy first thing but otherwise fine. I'm amazed when people have been stranded in cars less than 30 miles away. All shopping done (I hope), just having a little break before tackling ironing mountain that has appeared while I've been partying this past week or so!0 -

Hello,
We drove 99 miles without any dramas and then climbing up the hill to tackle the last mile we had fair amount of cars in front of us trying to climb the said hill. So stuck we were until friendly farmer (BF's boss
) came with his tractor and pulled all the cars (ours included) up the hill.
So here we are in nice and warm with tummies full and DD sleeping. I must admit that after today's excitement of packing and travelling it will be an early night for me.
Have a great evening!!!
PS 69 chick - I think you should have 7 in that case
