Jo - result with the tv stand! And with the dresser. Things are going well for you the last few days. Long may it continue!

I cancelled going to my SIL's today (was due to do her cleaning). She lives in the middle of blooming nowhere so wasn't going to try and get down those roads! So this morning me and piglet went to the local shop and got our salad stuff for crimbo. Also two packs of sausages which are currently in the oven. These are a pressie for all the greyhounds at the kennels where my Dads racer is. I'm a bit cheaper than my dad - he's bought them a pork joint!!:eek:

I'm pretty much set for christmas now. Not going to have a drink till tomorrow night when I can at last sit down and relax. One of the drivers last night asked me what spirits I drink :eek: I said I was trying to cut down so, bless him, he's going to get me one bottle of wine and some choc

Am actually starting to feel festive now! (and I'll be glad that in two mornings time I'll be able to say to Piglet "Yes, it IS christmas today"...he's been asking EVERY day!!!!):xmastree:

Yum to the sausages, you've reminded me of the sausages wrapped in bacon I've got to go with the crimbo dinner :drool:

Off to take kids to mums now, then back here for a present wrapping fest all on my lonesome

Hi all...am getting all christmassy now...am looking after a friends son today though so with my 3 its a bit of a nightmare here at the moment..roll on 3pm when hopefully his Mum will pick him up and I will be back to the usual bedlam of 3 kids :rolleyes:

Just had my last item ordered arrive from HMV only ordered it yesterday (Take That Circus on cd for £2.93 bargain) I have ordered a few bits from HMV lately and have been really impressed with their delivery service...

anyway well done Jo on your 'new' tv stand and the dressing table...what a result eh!....

Have clocked up 1 more af day since I last came on so I am on 6 days now please Marru....

Hope you are all where you want to be...I havn't been as af so far as I would have liked but apart from last Sat night I have been moderate...shared a bottle of wine with DH last night watching celebrity come dine with me...and it felt like a lot more and I was happy to stop at that which I think is better than I would have been in the past...

Hope everyone is well...Hi to all, will try to catch up better when the kids aren't around....

Well I've deposited DD1 to work and the other 2 round my mums and now home to do all my housework and wrap all the presents :eek:

Possibly just made a mistake by making a cup of coffee and popping open a tube of pringles.....you know when you pop, you just can't stop :eek:

Celebrity Come Dine With Me watched, housework done, now embarking on the wrapping :eek:

Bought the kids a gogo hamster each, put it down ready to wrap, went to get the rest of the stuff from various hiding places, came back and one of the hamsters was missing :eek: :eek:

Found it scooting up the hall way
