OMG I am so fuming
Just had a courier bloke knock on the door and ask if we'll take next doors delivery in, he was holding a small box. Yes my DD1 said, no probs, signed her name and took said parcel. He said, hold on love, got one more in the van. How he managed to get this parcel out of the van and to the door step I don't know. It's a glass TV cabinet and says '2 man to lift' on the side. Me and DD1 couldn't physically lift it over the door frame so it's now sat outside on my path ready to be nicked by just about anyone (provided they're strong). So I knocked on a couple of neighbours doors but nobody about, then noticed a sign on door of parcel recipient that said 'if you are delivering a parcel to be signed on please go to jo1972's house (well not my name but my number). Bluddy cheek, they didn't even ask me!! AND I don't even like them!!!

Evening all,
Can you tell I'm not at work, it's like verbal diahorrea
Anyway, whatever, so which one of you gentlemen was it..YM or maybe Lurks that did a yummy roast the other day? I need advice with the beef for crimbo dinner.
I usually do a mean roast but as I'm cooking for my mum too I need it to be good!
I've got a 2.182kg piece of topside. I intend to heat a bit of oil in a baking tray on really high then stick the beef in for a few minutes each side to brown then turn it down to a gas mark 3. My beef has always come out nice like this but it's a bigger joint than I'm used to.
How long should I cook it on low for you reckon? How do you do yours? What do you put on it, if anything, before cooking?
This question is not only open to just YM and Lurks obv
Any opinions gratefully received
