    Hi All

Another AFD for me! I must admit I sort of miss it - I don't think I miss the alcohol but I do feel something isn't right - if that makes sense? I think it maybe such a habit that when I'm not doing it I notice  Anyway I hope it gets easier - makes me wonder if 3 AFD a week will always be difficult and therefore have to give up completely to break habit! Anyway no wine in the house so can't drink it and sorry for self absorbed ramblings!

BB I'm sorry to hear things aren't too good - remember to look after yourself and we are here for you. (((((hugs))))).

Marru that is some whizzy spreadsheet - I'm very jealous.

Anyway off to beddy byes and tomorrow is another AFD (hopefully)

    Take care
    xx

  • Hi Budgie, so sorry to hear your news. Hugs, dodgy or not, or both... You are so great at looking out for everyone else, please reach out to other people who can help now that you are in a temporary difficult patch. Please don't forget to eat something not too bad for you often enough. Gosh, words are really hard, want to send positive happy vibes to you through this post. You are a strong person and will come through this no matter how hard it seems at the moment.

Shaggy, well done for getting through the Xmas party, very impressive. Habbit (hairy toes too?) hope you sleep well tonight.

Well done to all those off the starting block.

Marru that was an amazing set of stats - thought I was at work for a minute with all the % against target stuff. So I'm off the starting block tonight, 1/10 for me please Marru! And I'd like to change my name to Mallory.

    Time for another bad joke...

Why was Santa’s little helper depressed?

Because he had low elf esteem. :p
    Good night all.

just a little thinking of ya - to Mr and Mrs BB! !!!!!! happens and circumstances bring you down, at least he went to the doctors and hopefully see some light soon xx

Am so happy to see I've made 10% of something :j:j (it's a personal thing as I never get that 10% badge in WW or SW ) Unfortunately, drinking or not drinking doesn't seem to make a difference. went to the gym x 6 over past 2 weeks, i've now got lumbago and a painful knee!!

still AF tonight, 2 out of 10 already (am secretly hoping to surpass)!

time to find the dog for his bedtime wee wee and go to bed to watch Cast Off - which I am loving. goodnight x

yellowmonkey - pls post some piccs - my xmas spirit has been stolen and it might help to bring it back some!

Really looking forward to the lights YM and marru I think the Irish dancing is a super idea. I'm really into Scottish dancing and have always thought the Irish looks fab. Well done you!

    2AF please.
  • Should go to bed, but stopping off to say that's 2 now for me Marru.
    Goodnight all.
  • Just rushing in late as ever. Hugs to BB, hope your situation improves soon. GP hav'nt heard from you! YM would love to see those lights, they sound impressive. Jo well done on that Office party, not sure if I could manage that, lucky we dont have one.

Marru 2 AFD so far for Dec. Too tired too count where I am on the 100 day challenge, but its up on 24/12 so not far to go, but have agreed to carry on anyway.

So Sad Angel, would love to give another challenge ago but 1,000 days :eek: thats sounds like forever, think I'll handle smaller chunks! doesnt seem as much of a mountain to climb then, maybe another 100 days and then aim for 200  .

Hi IM...yes a day at a time is what I am still working to....I think as I get nearer the 100 mark (96 today) I don`t want to feel that at 100 I will fall off the wagon & my brain will think its OK to drink again....if that makes any sense? I need to make sure that I have a `bigger goal` to aim for to keep me focussed...its a personal thing I guess.

Anyway...2 AFDs please marru.....mega impressive spreadsheet !! LOL if I`d had one of those I may have been better with money...maybe not:o:o!

BB - hugs to you & your OH sweetheart...be strong & know that we are all helping you in spirit.

    Hi to everyone else :j

Trying for an early night here....had piggie flu jab today & arm really hurts now!:eek:

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
