Thanks for the warning about Delia mrsdee, I recorded it so I'll watch at the weekend when I've got a drink!
Just noticed your sig MissP, 1st 2lbs:eek: That's fantastic, well done you. How have you managed that? What will OH's family call you now??
Good luck with your review meeting Friday fay, don't work too late tonight. Oh and I fancy a chocolate teacup, useless or otherwise!
Glad lunch went well jo. Your boss will be on here if she carries on like that!
I'm worried about BHB too MP, no sign of him for a couple of weeks, hope he's OK.
AF tonight for me, was wandering aisles at Tesco and M&S earlier and festive feel made a few bells ring but I'll manage;)0 -

morning all. 1 for me please Marru and thank you for scoring this month. Did anyone watch the blessed Delia last night? I had to turn it off part way through as absolutely everything was laced with heaps and heaps of booze!! She said something like "it may seem a lot but these bottles will last for ages" and I thought... crikey, not in my house they wouldnt! :-)
That reminds me of last year. I never buy brandy through choice but last year made a christmas cake. You have to 'feed' the cake every week. I think for the 4 or 5 weeks preceeding christmas I would have to buy a new bottle of brandy every week as I had drunk the one I'd bought the week before!!!LBM 10/08 £12510.74/0 -

Well the thing is more trauma and Mr BB back to rock bottom again. I had to take half a day off on Monday morning to take him to the Doctors. He is now on medication and is being reffered for further counselling/help.
I really don't know what to do with him?
He seems to have gotten so much worse and the Doctor has given him a sick note, he doesn't get any jsa but signs on for his contributions.
To be honest it is making me ill too.
Sorry I don't want to bring the mood down but this means I won't be about much. So take care my friends and I hope to be back with you all soon.
Big hugs to all my very dear Friends.
God Bless

Thanks YM. Just hoping that the different format is ok with folks.
By the way, last part of the thread was closed when we reached about 4500 posts and we are now over 4900 so we might get "moved" to a new thread any time now.
Definitely AF here. I have been a bit queasy today, feeling fine now so fingers crossed that won't be going down with same bug as BF. Felt a bit dizzy in the morning so don't really want any additional aid for that at the moment.
Oooh - here is a secret, I won't tell anybody in real life. I got today a DVD of how to learn Irish dancing. I thought that I won't be able to go jogging due to time restrain and also because the weather is diabolical but can have a little dance after DD has gone to bed. Should be fun. (Ps I live in a house so nobody downstairs who might be getting ideas about stampeding elephants
)
Edit: Budgie - cross posted. I am so sorry to hear about Mr BB. For you to be able to help him you need to look after yourself. Try to get some time just for you even if it is just ten or fifteen minutes."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."
