Fay, I'm sad that you generally feel tired, angry and lonely, that's got to be tough - have a hug from a long way away (((())))

:A gien thanks - I don't think I am alone in that headspace - I think we all to a differing degree find ourselves tired and alone often - the angry bit I guess I am dealing with (but lifes OK in general) just LOTS on and LOTS to be responsible for when sometimes I just want NOT be responsible.

However, drinking doesn't solve that  ,its actually as much use as a chocolate teacup.:rotfl:

Thanks for the kind words - and yup am STILL working, having a cuppa then back to it, meeting to review me again on Friday.

  • Great post Fay. Responsibilty, ugh...still don't feel mature enough sometimes for such adult things.

Anyway off the AF mark at last, decent nights sleep after second day without the sauce.

    Morning :hello:,

It was my office Xmas meal last night so I wasn't AF but did only have 2 glasses of wine (interspersed with a number of glasses of sparkling water) so quite a success I think:D.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Just a quickie as got to throw Piglet in the bath before taking him up the walk-in centre. His thumb is still bothering him and I want to get it checked over.

    Evening Everybody,

    Okay Marru,

After much pondering and soul searching:rolleyes: put me down for 31 days please.

This will take me past my 100 days, but I love the new me, dont want to look back. Just ordered a shop from sainsburys, no wine just fizzy water and elderflower!! My first AF xmas, quite a challenge ahead I think:eek:

    Good luck all

    Nite

Well done on deciding to go for it!!!!.
Very hard, but do-able......This will be my second AF xmas. It was wonderful to be able to remember every minute of the day last year and not to fall out with anyone.....and even win some games on the Wii:D
I love the new me too (although it is not so new to me now,I still have to pinch myself sometimes to prove I am doing this:rolleyes:).I never want to go back to what I was and the longer you can do this for the more you will want to keep on doing it.

Well done to everyone who was AF last night.
Jo and Fay...stick together girls ....you will get there.

    One for me please Marru.
    Have a good day

  • Hi everyone

I didn't drink last night either so that is 2 AF for me, so really pleased at the good start.

I am finding that I am not sleeping very well, another night of feeling only half of me is asleep, does this get better, I'm feeling a bit tired today, but also good that I am doing this.

    Thanks
    H
