A woman in her thirties is at home happily jumping unclothed, on her bed and squealing with delight.
Her husband watches her for a while and asks, 'Do you have any idea how ridiculous you look? What's the matter with you?'
The woman continues to bounce on the bed and says, 'I don't care what you think. I just came from having a mammogram and the doctor says that not only am I healthy, but I have the breasts of an 18-year-old.'
The husband replies, 'What did he say about your 42-year old ar$5?'
'Your name never came up,' she replied:wave:
17 for me please GG

Good morning all! Glad to read all the funny and optimistic things on here this morning! GG, am on day 17 AF please. I cant believe that my last drink was on 8th October, and before that it was 13th September... I used to be a bottle of wine a night person, often more. I'm absolutely loving the feeling of going to bed sober - and being able to do things like brush my teeth and take my makeup off! And despite spending cash on different things like ginger cordial (yum yum) and sparkly water and horlicks n stuff, there's a noticeable difference in the pocket, which is what we're all aiming for after all... Have a lovely day everyone!Sick and tired of waking up sick and tired...
Debt-free, now focussing on being mortgage-free

Hello fay and cw. I'm here just thinking of putting on some socks (don't run to stripey I'm afraid) as it's suddenly got very cold and draughty.
Been having a problem as for some reason site doesn't recognise me when I log on. It's a bit of a faff having to log in each time, wonder why
Definitely going to be AF tonight. As someone said the other day I only really enjoy the first 10 mins or so and really don't like the tired, sluggish feeling next morning and that's with moderate consumption not full blown hangover mode.0 -
Hello all
last night was AF for me :j!
Popped into Mr T's for Jucee Summer Fruits squash, soda water to go with the lime cordial and Irn Bru (yes, I'm a Scottish cliche!).
TBH it was just as well there was no wine in the house coz I would have had some - just felt like something was missingbut I'm hoping that's coz I'm breaking a long formed habit!
It's weird coz I was AF last Friday coz I was all snuffy and didn't miss it and there was wine in the house!
Anyway will stop waffling and off for a Lemsip - do have a cold but it's not coming to anything just bunged up. Actually I read that more people get cirrhosis from paracetamol than alcohol - hmm all these times I've taken paracetamol for hang overs ........
Sorry I do witter on
take care xx0
