Just off to bed now so wanted to say g'night to you all.
AF here, still coldy but feeling better actually. I hope that another day at home will shake the last of it away, tho' I have a lovely cough - sounds like I am on 20 a day.
one day at a time seems to be working for me very nicely - I don't worry about a target and just choosing to not drink for today is not scarey.Trying to keep in budget.

Thank you, this month's scoring has been a team effort!
xx
Pleasure, I actually get quite a buzz out of doing the stats"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Well done everyone! Still all AF in the pbt household. Hope everyone's well. Gien-I find the one day at a time works for me. When I was saying to myself I'll just drink at weekends my weekends started on Thursdays and ended on Tuesdays! Or i'd say to myself I'll do the 3 for a tenner deal over the weekend as I'd been cutting down all week....then of course buy aniother 3 on a Sunday! I think we can play so many tricks with ourselves to get what we think we need.

CW, sweetie, I know many a fact about drinking, but i never heard that it warmed your feet up! Shall we send you some bedsocks instead?
It really does! The alcohol dilates capillaries so more blood flows to your extremities and warms them up. This is why you should never give alcohol to someone with hypothermia as their internal organs need the heat more than their fingers do. All those St Bernards got it badly wrong:eek:.
Bedsocks would be good, furry ones with pink and white stripes please:D.0 -

Thanks Marru, well hun I wouldn't know if that was correct or not. Maths is not Budgie's strong point :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
