GG - still 3 for me!

had a brill weekend with the kids going to watch wrestling - triple H and Shaun Michaels were v fit *ahem* in a sexy way! The drive back from Somerset wasn't too bad - 4.5 hours to manchester - got caught in the fog a couple of times but not many delays, unlike on the way there! didnt day time drink and only had a couple of pints at evening - all weekend! I did have some wine when I got in and am just having the half bottle that I didnt finish last night! So no 72 hour challenge for me this week but I'll be af tomorrow!

Have not read all the pages that's i've missed just caught a few. Re: the liver function tests; the gp's at work are always telling me that normal liver function does not mean normal liver!!! I used to will myself to some alcohol disease so I couldnt drink anymore - but hopefully I seem to be more controlled and have decided I dont want the decision made for me! Spoke to my mum - she's got some diazepam from doctors as she got food poisoning and stopped drinking so started hallucinating (long story - dt's) - so hopefully she's getting a grip of herself - in as much as she can!! Off to phone her in a mo! Just washing holiday stuff and feeling v tired atm.

But at least the house is starting to warm up! am going to try peddling back through this thread for a bit - I bought my house sitter some cans (cider lager wine) and they've hardly been touched!!

    evening.

thanks everyone for the very honest postings - I find them really helpful as it makes me reflect on myself.
At the end of another carp day here. Super concert last night but after 5 hours sleep and a fair bit of wine I have been feeling bad all day - so another wasted 12 hours.

No booze for me tonight and I want to get through to the end of the week AF too. Am really beginning to think that I need to have a long Af period ti get it out of my system.
    BTW, what's a 72 hour challenge?
    Trying to keep in budget.

    Good evening,

Statistics: Pledged 612, had 131, 21.4% in 26.7% of time

I am in the world of car insurance. With my old car it was difficult as it was left hand drive and with the new one it is difficult as I am not the registered keeper (and registered keeper had his previous car written off this year for no fault of his own but it now affects this quote). Going to try for little while longer and then give up for tonight and carry on tomorrow. Yes I am doing it all in MSE way.

So AF here and well in my way with the 72h challege.
    GG please 9 for me.

Gien, the 72hr challenge is more for us cut-downers (but open to everyone) where we pledge for 3 consecutive AF days, generally Mon - Weds :)

    So far we have:*

    Me!
    Shaggy
    Jo
    Marru

Obviously, lots of others on here too but like YM says just dealing with it one day at a time - best of luck to all :T

    GG, that's 4 for me :)

*if I've missed anyone I'm really sorry - bit wiped out from work :o
