  • Morning all and welcome to Su :hello:

Please add another AFD to my total, YM. :T

I'm pleased that I was able to work through my intense cravings for a drink yesterday, instead of simply giving in. I've not had bells clanging like that for a good few weeks. I drank a couple of pints of full fat coke and scoffed a large bag of hula hoops to get through the feelings, then we had dinner (sausage and baked potatoes with cheese & sweetcorn) so I think I'll just forget about how many millions of calories I consumed   and focus on my no alcohol achievement!

Off to get ready for uni now - another fab day, I hope :D. Best of luck to all of us who are aiming for another AFD.

Thought for today: Remember that every day you are AF is a milestone. Don't take it for granted. Revel in it and enjoy the freedom it gives you.

    Hugs,
    Caz

  • Morning everyone - welcome on board Su :hello:

YM Another day for me so 21 AFD this month

Have a good day everyone - sun is shining here, we seem to be having a bit of an Indian summer this week - yay!
  • Good morning everyone :hello: Thank you for the welcome. Just got to work so can't post now but I have a couple of strategies in mind to help me in this endeavour. Back later.
    Everyone have a good day

  • Morning all. Feeling quite good today. New Lard Low of 18 stone 2 lbs and I'm quite eager to see the scales say "17 stone something" in the next week or two.

Lowest I've ever been (since records began) is 17 stone 7 lbs a couple of years ago (which curiously enough was also at the end of a 2 month AF experiment)

morning everyone and a big welcome to Su!
Another AF night last night so that's 20 for me please. "Revelling in it" is good! I really feel that at the moment, and hope (am sure in fact) that the feeling will continue every day.
Have a big family gathering this weekend - would normally be a very boozy affair for me but I've already decided I have the confidence to go and not touch alcohol. It's something I would never EVER have dreamed of doing a couple of months ago and I did spend some time worrying about it for a couple of weeks but in the last few days I know I can do it. I think it does get easier with time - and of course with all the support from you. I am going to revel in my sobriety whilst everyone around me drinks.... thank you for helping me get this far.
