    Hi
Not posted for a while. Have to admit no more AF days in Oct so I missed my target:o. My son was home from college for half term. Some of you may recall an earlier post where I shared that my DS is profoundly autistic and has quite challenging behaviour. Suffice to say that I have had a difficult week and have not even attempted to limit my alcohol. However, I would like to pledge 12 AF days for November please GG and see how I get on.

I'm up for 72 hours if you mean Monday - Wednesday? I want to get November off to a good start. See you on the wagon tomorrow.

    G'night all.

    Good evening!

Fay - thank you for scoring for October. I will go now and transfer my saving to ISA towards my matched betting fund (going to start it again to fund some courses I want to do).

I am now back home after driving down M5 rather tired, I didn't cause any danger to other traffic so obviously my "autopilot" was working. Back home got a nasty letter from council which I have to deal with tomorrow but at least I didn't grab the bottle and instead called BF. So that is no 1 for me please GG. I am all for 72h challenge.

Going to catch up on XF online and then crash to bed.

    Byeee....

ETA: Just poured last of my sherry down the drain - (oooh it smelled sooo nice)

  • Hi

Just checking in, rather late I know, busy day, yet again. Just got the Ironing done for tommorow:T Thanks Fay once again for a brilliant job, GG thats 1/30 please, as the first day is almost over.

Jo, only just read your comment from last night. To be honest I have given day 101 a lot of thought, it will be Christmas Day, and I really dont yet have the answer. I want to say it will just carry on, and I will set myself another target. But the demon in my head says go on its Christmas, just a couple, :rolleyes:but I think I will loose direction and fall to the bottom of the ladder, as though I was in a game of snakes and ladders. I imagine it will then be very hard to pick myself back up and find the motivation.

So its an answer I have not yet truly found.

Hope everyone is where they want to be tonight. Damn those twins:mad:

    Morning:hello:

A non AFD for me yesterday. Had 2 glasses of wine (about 4 units). Aim for the week is to do at least 5 AFDs and only drink a maximum of 8 units.

Good Luck for the new week and the new month

PS Thanks Jo for your kind words.
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
