Morning all, got back last night from Aberdeen and hoping to get back on track, only managed 1 afd while I was away :o but last night was af too so that makes me 14 in total...am not going to make my target but am planning on a def af tonight and possibly tomorrow too, have my brother and his gf coming tomorrow for the weekend (brother big drinker, but his gf is not so I might manage to stay af with her, it would be nice also for her to see me not drinking as I don't think she has ever been in my company for a night without me having a fair few...

have a great day all xx

Well done on staying AF. Afraid I was squashed up on the naughty step. Regretting it since 4am when I woke up feeling rubbish. I also drunkenly persuaded oh to buy me a crunchie or an aero and he came back with a multipack of each so I scoffed 2 crunchies and an aero. And I'd had the bottle of wine to myself and four pieces of toast before he got back, as well as my 'healthy' dinner.

What's done is done. New day today. Back to bed for me for an hour before the dreaded alarm.

    Good morning everyone,

Hope you soon feel better WBF......and anyone else waking with a hangover.

It's stuff like this that makes me so glad I don't drink anymore....just READING about the loss of control and then feeling ill at 4 in the morning makes me feel ill now;)

Have a Terriific Alcohol free Thursday everybody,

    Love Mollypollyxxxx

Hope you finished 60 inute make over jo and that reduction people were pleased with you BHB.

Thanks maman. Yep they were pleased. I dropped down to a total of 38 units over the 7 days.

Struggled last night though as in 'holiday' mode for the next couple of days.... can't wait for school to start again.

Mrs BHB says that I should redress the balance of my comment about her the other day by saying I had too many last night and got argumentative:confused:. I am not sure that this is entirely correct but will give her the benefit of doubt (I had 3 beers and a couple of glasses of wine) though I may just have been just plain grumpy :D

It has been a stressful time over the last couple of months, and we are both a bit crabby :o .

I might just go and stay out of the way in the shed today :rotfl:..... now where did I put that hammer ..... more fencing to do

Its weird, during term time I can't wait for a week of lay in's and now half term is here I need to get back to work! I know then I can't drink anything until i get home later in the evening.

    BHB

I'm not going to make my target this month. However I am starting to remember I can have a nice evening without a [STRIKE]glass[/STRIKE] (bottle :o) & enjoy evenings of having tea & chocolate instead :)

that's nice. It frightens me to think how a lot of people I "know" have only ever actually seen me with a few drinks inside me and that's not the real me... that's changing now though. Good on you 69chick - I hope you have a lovely time with your bro and his gf.

11th day AF for me today.

With it being Halloween I think that will be my last AF day for the month but 11 is not too terrible. I did feel quite ashamed when I put the glass recycling box out this week though, it was overflowing with bottles.
I also drunkenly persuaded oh to buy me a crunchie or an aero and he came back with a multipack of each so I scoffed 2 crunchies and an aero. And I'd had the bottle of wine to myself and four pieces of toast before he got back, as well as my 'healthy' dinner.

    That sounds like me!:o

    Morning all.

Well done on your reduced unit total BHB, 'normal' unit levels (for blokes that is) look achievable from here. Do you have a new target for this week? Please don't wish your holiday away, just keep hammering!

MP, I think Mr MP is doing really, really well. Have sleep patterns improved yet?

I'm not sure I exactly enjoy an evening of tea and cocoa but it does help to keep me out of trouble.

WBF, probably shouldn't have but I did smile at the idea of you scoffing all that stuff last night. If you're going to fall off the wagon then you certainly went for it big time!

    Fresh new day everyone!

Thanks Maman, Target for this week is 34 units :D ..... except I blew 8 of those last night

They seem to use the figure of 28 per week for blokes, not 21 as I thought it was. So not far off at this rate :D.
Will try and get down to steady 21 or less though, but 28 units a week seems to be a quite reasonable and acceptable level for them, which is 2 nice cans of beer a day, or nearly half a bottle of wine - which seemed excessive for a normal amount to me . 2 Cans of beer sounds less for some reason

I would add that they were not overly worried about the actual amount I was now drinking, but as I thought it was a problem then it is a problem..... if you see what I mean. The guy next to me was drinking Vodka and blackcurrent for breakfast and was polishing off my weekly units in a day, so guess when you look at it like that then OK I can see why its not too bad. But then better to try and get on top of it before it gets out of hand I guess.

I've got a splitting headache now from hammering in staples on the fencing all morning. The damn pigs better appreciate the enclosure when they come in a couple of weeks. I guess it might be as the sun is very bright and hot here today too.

    Catch ya later
    BHB
