I forgot to say this morning that when I woke up I had such a craving for alcohol.
I am about to take some of the extra money from my money box and buy chocolate and flowers for myself.
Such a grey and dull day here that I needed something to cheer myself up.:smileyheaHOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000

Thanks for the welcome back guys, I have had some more sleep and feel more positive now. I am off to a pub for the afternoon so will report back when I get in. Lime and soda or diet coke for me today I think.
I want to get to 10/10 for Friday so that would mean 7 AFDS in a row. I first arrived onto this thread a year ago this week and although I still want to do much better than I am at the moment, a year ago I hadn't had a week AF for 10 years. Literally. I know because my previous week not drinking coincided with the wedding of two friends and that was October 1999. And I didn't have any AFDs month to month either, even single ones let alone all 7 in a row. I did manage a few days over the decade through being in hosital or being ill. Rather than beat myself up this week I shall try to keep reminding myself how things have changed since my first post here a year ago.0 -
WBF, this thread isn't all about people having to quit alcohol, if you feel you are drinking too much and want to cut it down then that's good too. Also, everyone that posts on here is AWARE of how much they drink, which is the first step in the right direction of cutting down/quitting....better than continuing on in denial or ignoring the fact.
Enjoy your afternoon xDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -

Ahem, 40SM, I think I'm entitled to more clapping and smiley jumpies than that as it's now 11 days, 12 hours and 17 minutes:rotfl:
