Like Fay, I am now happy and fuming at the same time.

OH's mate has pulled out of this evening so he is not going out means I am not home alone which means no chance of drinking :D

On the downside, I will not be able to sit on here and give you all verbal diahorrea, I bet you're all gutted

Was having Tuna pasta with the kids tonight but he won't eat that, so off out to buy summat 'posher' and summat nice for afties and a magazine :D

    hey all

How are you are doing? I've not been around at al really over the last few months.

I've not drunk now for nearly 5 months - been going to AA meetings regularly and have now started working the 12 step programme. I know it's not for everyone to give up completely, but that was the only way for me.

My life is still pretty unmanageable though - things really hard at the mo. Work has improved beyond belief and in that respect the not drinking has helped beyond measure. I am struggling being a single parent though so am off to the family board to get some inspiration and that.

Much love for you all in cutting down. I know how hard it is!!!!
