Cake is proving knackering as I don't have a mixer so have to do it all by hand
And hugs, Fay, you've not been a grotbag at all - just a bit down & we're all there sometimes@ LBM = £15,872.65, now £10,819.82AF Jan = 7/? Feb = 5/14 Mar = 14/20 Apr = 6/14 May = 2/14 June 2/14 July 0/TF Aug 1/TFv Sept 6/TF Oct 4/7"NEVER DOUBT YOUR OWN QUALITY"0 -
Hi everyone. I'm back from the pub and in spite of massive temptation and having friends offering me brandy and cider (not in the same glass!) I have made it home. I had tea, tonic with ice and lemon and a diet coke. OH has opened a bottle of wine while I was out so I thought I'd come and see how you were all doing to help me stay strong today!
Welcome on board Lamarsi. I hope it helps you with what you want to achieve on the drink front, I've found it is helping me.
Fay, I can totally understand why you're fuming, even just the lying part would have me totally p.ssed off. Glad they're back and for at least the last 10 pages you've been being a star! All that encouragement to others and as Honey bear says everyone can be a bit down from time to time.
Honeybear, sorry to hear you've been ill. Hope you feel 100% soon. If you mix for long enough maybe your hand will be too knackered to hold a glass!
Sea - wow 5 months is an inspiration. Thanks for letting us know how you are getting on.
Hi fedupski, have a good evening and enjoy your wine.

Off to brave downstairs now. I will stay strong and collect my 4th star.0 -

Made a loovveeeely beef casserole again in the slow cooker today.....plenty of vitamins to help me recover from this cold. When I move I shall be using it daily I think....hmmmm wonder if I can make jam in it? Shall check out the OS board.
Hello to new folks....cut down or stop it is all an achievement...even one less drink a day will make a big difference to the weekly units & is a step in the right direction.:T:T:T
