Thats what I said to start with but have agreed to a support group. The 'reduction clinic' this morning was actually quite a hoot. Its not full of stereotypical drunks, but just normal friendly people like the lunatics on here ;):D.

Is that supposed to comfort me!:p

115k, well done for taking the step and good luck! How long is will you have to wait do you know?

I'm not sure. I didn't ask that actually. I was referred for another separate service today and I got a bit confused with both. :o I know that one was supposed to be a 6 week wait. I have cut down on drinking a lot and I doubt I would be considered urgent unless I pushed and I'm not feeling that way at the moment. I'm still going to go for cutting down I think. I can't face giving up completely at the moment. It wasn't my suggestion rather my GP's but I think it is a good idea for me.
Had a huge tea of pie, chips and peas

I first read that as pie, chips and pie! I thought you must be full.:rotfl:

Thanks as well to the lovely people offering support. Lots of people are doing great at the moment.

Feel free, sweetie, but you're going to give the boys all sorts of ideas :p :rotfl:

Yes, tho, thank you - it may only be 5 days but it's still better than none :)

Any green triangles going spare?* :D

*notice how I perk up at the mention of chocolate! :rotfl:

I am sure there are some spare! :rotfl:

Have put them away now and I disappeared to fly and do the ironing and washing up. All tidy now and it certainly helps me to be distracted from the thought of drinking!
