You 'were' drinking that much - at the moment you're not - how cool is that?:j:j:j:j:jwell done on even thinking like that. I like to hear myself say 'I use to drink a bottle of wine everyday' - it's USE to - not anymore (only very occasionally anyway)

    Hoping we all get there!

It's very cool! For ages I've been able to say "I used to smoke 20 a day for 20 years", now I am starting to say "I used to drink a bottle of wine a night" and now I dont...
I think that was a very different person to the one I am becoming today.

I just loved this smilie, it's adorable and I'm going to use it for you wb - that's how you'll feel about yourself if you don't stick with our 3 day event. So tell OH to ...off if he tries to force strong drink on you tomorrow!

Thanks maman, feel like I'm teetering on a knife edge at the moment, not due to OH at all (no pressure there maybe cos I got so filthy working on boat this morning I refused to go for a pub lunch, then made a tea as soon as we got back) but just been a total dead loss of a day & very frustrating & I'm really tired after 2 carp nights sleep......but this has made me smile for just about the first time all day!
I need a slap round the face with a wet kipper at the moment to give me some enthusiasm for giving up :o
    xx

I think you're getting closer to the answer bhb; last time you mentioned this scenario it was simply a wet fish, now you're starting to focus in on the type of fish. This could be significant.

Am going to go off & be busy now - just heard a text arrive which I suspect will wind me up even further!!!!!! (why can't people keep to agreed arrangements...cancel at the last minute for reasons they must have known about, lots of times,& it's not OH!)

Not caving in yet but feeling far from "safe". Am trying to concentrate on how disappointed I'd be in the morning.....

Think I won't read the text til later....

Er, no, the cause of the aggro is DD's riding lessons which get mucked about every single week!!! We've sat & waited 1 1/2 hrs this afternoon for her to say she'll be late back from work....texted 2 mins before lesson due to start. Sorry, blood boiling, horses = wrong subject!!! Came home in huff which, erm, not yet quite worn off....

Anyways, how you doing T2GU? I've got at least 2 more afd's thanks to you & this challenge so a big TA!
