blend with fruit juice for a smothie (possibly add other fruit if you have it) DONT add to jelly as an enzyme in kiwi fruit stops it setting - my mum put kiwi in the christmas trifle one year and it refused to set!!!

I have a dehydrator, and for an experiment put sliced kiwi in it. It worked really well and kept for weeks (probably longer if I'd not have eaten it all). I was surprised as I've not seen dried kiwi in the shops.
    Looking forward to the future.

I didn't know you could make kiwi jam - given what sillyvixen says about the enzymes, I'm surprised it sets. I think some experimentation might be in order here.

    Hi karrie,

There's an earlier thread with lots of ideas for using kiwi fruit so I've added your thread to it to keep the suggestions together.

    Hello,

I seem to have a lot of kiwi fruit that is going soft. Can I freeze it ?
Any suggestions what to do with it otherwise ?
I've eaten so many over the last few days I'm beginning to look like one !!

    Thanks

You can freeze them, but they'll be more mushy when defrosted. As this has fallen from the front page of OS, I'll add it to the exisitng threda to give you more ideas what to do with your kiwi :D
