Yeah, mine changed on Saturday. You could try what I've done and send them a LBA saying if the money's not paid in 14 days you're off to Court. The more of us that do it the more likey they'll take it seriously and know that we can't be cheated out of the money!

Right, here we go. Had a letter from Dominic from Quidco today in response to my LBA. I think they're trying to be funny now as they sent it to me by Recoreded Delivery! Lol!

Unsurprisingly they're spouting the same generic responses and actually having the cheek to say responses are not generic. Not sure Dominic's aware of the irony there. And, despite writing as to the exact reasons they'll be up in Court, he's asked why I'll be taking Quidco to Court. Really wondering if Dominic's not a sandwhich short of a picnic basket.

So anyway, I think Lynsay was right in that I should have sent it to the flat in Dartford. For those of you who missed that post on the other Quidco thread (as it was deleted, despite being a perfectly relevant post) Quico's parent company, Mayple Syrup Media Ltd. states it's registered address as 36A Gordon Road, Dartford, Kent DA1 2LQ. After a quick Google I discovered this is a flat in Dartford and not, as one would expect, an office! So I shall now send the same letter there before I do take them to Court as, as Lynsay said, I have to do that first. Bit of a pain, but nonetheless, needs must!

Ruthha, if you're still on this forum it might be useful if you could also write to the flat in Dartford. Or get the people who you're fighting for to do it. The more people who write the better the chances of getting our money I think.

on your claim form you should put all th defendant on your claim form to protect yourself from the defendant filing a defence as not being correctly served and you have to reserve the court papers.

I am being thick? But won't a court just throw it out, I mean the T&C's of quidco cover themselves?

That's what I aim to find out. ;)

As I said before, everyone put up with bank charges until they were challenged.

I know its not a race but somethings very sadly wrong at Quidco . This is the first time on any of my posts that i have mentions Topcash back so i am not for or against tc..

Judge for yourself promises or cash :

It maybe only £ 65 from TCB but a BIRD IN THE HANDS WORTH TWO IN THE BUSH

Problems at Quidco are not a new thing - I had problems over a year ago and switched to topcashback - there have been some issues with tracking but every claim I have put in (so far) has been resolved satisfactorily and cashback awarded. No way I would go back to Quidco but as topcashback offers the same service without the £5 annual fee and with extra (top-up) cashback on top there is no reason to!

I stop using them earlier this year due to a insurance problem last year taking 9 months to payout. They eventually did pay but I dont use them anymore nor the insurance company

Topcashback whilst I did use them when I sued Quidco I did use Quidco more because they were the first 100% and accrued more money, but TCB are free no £5 fee. Why peole kepe using them I dont lknwo when ist justa s good if not better to sue TCB and until recently they paid more than 100% but a certain cashback web site didnt like it and complained I believe

Taking the T&C's at face-value then they would be thrown out, but, and a very big but is that these T&C's have never been tested and could be unfair. Cashback sites are still relatively new and just because a site puts in T&C's does it mean they are just and fair??
Until tested we shall never know and no-one can state how fair these T&C's are because simply they don't know, they may have their own idea, but that's all it can be.
Is it fair that a cashback site like Quidco can openly advertise and charge a fee for advertising cashback, yet still want the option of rejecting cashback?? "They want their cake and eat it", so to speak.
Also, would Quidco defend such a challenge??
It would cost them of course, but what if they lost??
Well worth testing, good luck fenris.

Hi Ruttha, good to see you back! Hope your Mum's OK?

Anyway, hate to say this as I'd love the opportunity to !!!!! and whine about Quidco some more, but Jules, in this case, is correct; the six months are up on 2nd October. You have to count from the following month. You took it out in April, so you count 2nd of May as the first month, 2nd June as the second month, 2nd July as the third month an so on and so forth. Think there may be a bit of a cultural difference here? I'm not sure. But, as much as it loathes me to do so, I have to agree with Jules on this; she is right, you'll have to wait until Friday. But, since that's only 3 days, it's not so long!

On another note, my MORE TH>N £30 has finally moved to Paid! Hurrah! So that's only three months longer than Quidco advertised.

It's been interesting using TCB. Now, I know that I haven't taken out any insurances or anything, because I did them all through Quidco in March/April this year. But I have found that the things I have bought via TCB have all tracked pretty much straight away, with the notable exception of Parcel Monkey which never tracks! Anyway, I've found that, generally speaking, TCB go from Tracked to Payable in no more than six weeks. This is exceptional service! Take note Quidco; TCB pay quickly, have excellent customer relations and don't close tickets!
