Ahh, but there's the rub Fenris as Ruthha pointed out as well, she cannot (and I assume you can't either) answer questions we don't have the answers to...they would have to be directed at Quidco, whereas the questions I directed at you could ONLY be answered by you.

do you understand how it works now...here's another one that only the person/persons its directed at could answer:

Open question (prompting a simple answer): what has RUTHHA's campaign achieved so far?

its obviously directed at RUTHHA (she knows what she has or hasn't achieved) and any person her campaign has helped, how hard can it be, you like Ruthha simply talk round in circles avoiding the truth to questions, again, ask me any question I am able to answer about what I'm doing, what I know from my own experience etc and I'll give you an answer.

You really have to read back over the posts (Look up Ruthha's they're nearly all to do with Quidco), she says things like a large number of people; many people, £1000's so obviously she has the answers to hand but prefers to keep it a mystery to hide her results...she started the attacks on Quidco, I'm just asking the same questions from the start. How many, how much, who has she helped?...I've still to see anyone out of the 650,000 Quidco members say she has been any use...do you know of any...or is that a big secret as well?
    I'm now a retired teacher... hooray ...:j

Those who can do, those who can't, come to me for lessons:cool:

You've answered your own question Torby! It's no use asking me to answer a question only ruthha can answer. That was the whole point in my Quidco questions; you can only answer if you're privy to the information. Or am I not making this clear enough?

Well for a start she has achieved the honour of Quidco asking her for her choice of venue for a meeting (same offer/honour they make to anyone who wants to visit, read over the posts again), so Quidco must either be worried or believe she is doing something right. Why? they asked me as well (see below) Why has Quidco not just put ruthha on ignore as ruthha has obviously done to yourself?? Who knows?...ask Quidco yourself, perhaps they want to encourage dialogue and not shy away from questions.

Remember Torby, you also had the chance to meet Quidco..........or as ruthha might say, "Are you already there"?? (lol) I didn't feel I had any need, I'm happy what they do is for the benefit of their customer.

Will Quidco honour this meeting of ruthha's choice (prompting a simple answer)?? Again you miss the point completely, imagine a scenario where you want a fruitful discussion take Iraq or Afghanistan, I would assume a suitable venue would be a neutral area with possibly even a white flag.
    1. Very sorry then, I wasn't aware anyone could meet with a choice of venue (I won't read over the posts again though).

    2. So Quidco aren't worried about you as they have offered to meet you at a venue of your choice (sorry again, I wasn't aware).

    3. They seem to be shying away from some questions (fenris's), or maybe I'm wrong again.

    4. Good to see someone happy with Quidco customer service, just a shame everyone isn't so happy.

    5. Again very sorry for missing the point completely, I really thought Quidco offered ruthha the actual choice of meeting place.

How on earth did I get it all wrong??

Apart from that its no one eles business apart from the member that are owed.

So these people that are owed nothing from quidco come on here and say so us your results. WELL HARD LUCK .

Why dont they print a snap shop of there cashback from Quidco ( Thats if they are members ) showing all payments made on time etc.

Just a quicky femis , the last set of account showed £ 3 million pounds cas in hand which no doubt was members money waiting to be paid out. If it was quidco own money it would have been on deposit earing interest.

Another clue less person . ged 1980. If you look at Quidco account no interest is shown . Cash in hand MEANS CASH IN a current account no Interest .

Yes Trolls , numpties what time lock down now in Rampton ???

Cash at hand simply means money that is instantly (or relatively instantly) accessible, in terms of company accounts. It could be in a 7 day notice account. It could be in a current account (although the term is not really appropriate to a business). It could be (and most probably is) in a business account with negotiated terms that include interest payment on all money deposited. It could even be a combination of these - you wouldn't show separate amounts for your different business accounts in your statement of financial position or your income statement.
  • Another one with wrong advice : Look at the accounts . Interest is taxable no interest was paid on any account by the company.

Just go to companies House and down load the accounts. :T

THE COMPANY WOULD SHOW INTEREST EARNED ON ANY ACCOUNTS FOR THE COMPANY IN THE ACCOUNTS.

GO AND LOOK THEN YOU WILL SEE

Just read this on the Quidblog,

    October 22nd, 2009
Quidco is the Web's leading Cashback Cooperative who this year will give over £30m of savings to our members. This member base is growing by over 20,000 members per month and we are looking to strengthen our UK development team.

Now I'm not trying to make excuses, but it makes it a wee bit easier to see how it can be difficult tracing 6 month old transactions that didn't track. I would also imagine that they search equally as hard for the man who lost £3 at Play and the one who lost £50 at MoreThan, the only difference being, if its an affiliate problem (or a financial institution) there may be more, so they sort it en-masse ...

pity Greggs wasn't on Quidco....mmmm lunch deal....

    Good morning,

I thought it was time that I put made a little statement on here to clarify the situation for some of you.

Firstly, the offer to meet up with Ruthha was made in order to help her to understand the process, get to meet us and for us to look at her own issues, as we were not making any progress with tickets or on this forum and we wanted to be able to draw a line under the whole problem and move on. We are being accused of holding on to her money and that of other members and we wanted to speak face to face with Ruthha to reassure her about this. The offer was made purely as a gesture of goodwill by Dominic Butterell, my Manager, who is Head of Member Support, and for no other reason. Dominic and I are not prepared to meet in a solicitor’s office as we do not see this as neutral ground. We do not have legal training or come from legal backgrounds and would not be legally represented ourselves, and we would therefore not be happy or comfortable with this unnecessary level of formality for such a meeting.

I also told her that we would be happy to look at any correspondence she has had from members who had written to her about their problems, and that I would look at each issue individually. I will not be discussing the cases with Ruthha though, but taking them away and dealing with the members directly. Ruthha passed one case on to me recently but it was for a member who had been banned for abuse of the system and we will not be overturning our original decision. I have written to the member informing them of this.

All correspondence with Ruthha is being made by ticket and I will not be speaking to her via this forum as I do not think it either professional or appropriate. She has agreed to this and I am waiting for her to come back to me with some suggested dates and venues, as the offer to meet is still open.

I have had some tickets from members who, from the forum, seem to think that Ruthha is acting for Quidco and I would like to state that this is not the case. Ruthha has not been appointed by Quidco to act on their behalf in any capacity whatsoever. If any of you have a problem, please raise a ticket or earnings enquiry through the normal channels and we will be happy to help. Please be aware, though, that we will not be able to overturn merchant’s decisions to decline, or to reconsider our own decisions to ban certain members of abusing merchant offers. Nor can we expedite payment or validation when a transaction is going through the cashback cycle, or arrange for payment of cashback for untracked items. Please refer to our terms and conditions and help pages for full explanations of how the system works if you are at all unsure.

I do not respond to Fenris on here, as I had told her previously I would not be doing so. We have been corresponding with her via direct written correspondence.

I will not post on this particular thread/forum again but I have been advised by the MSE Abuse Team that our own thread will start up again shortly. However, I will only update on general issues so, again, please raise a ticket if you require assistance. Previous detailed and honest responses I have given on there to individual members have been subsequently dissected by others and I am not prepared to enter into any arguments on this site or anywhere else.

Finally, many thanks to all who attended our member feedback session in London the other night. It was a fantastic turn-out and a very successful evening. Thank you for all your comments and suggestions and for the constructive feedback on the new-look site, which is to be launched shortly. They are much appreciated. We will hold more such sessions in the near future.

    Kind regards
    Jules
