How long did it take you, Silk, to get your compensation? See if Gertie's takes longer !!

    Hi GD,
It was 35 days although I wouldn't call it compensation as it didn't even come close as you and most people who read the threads know ;)
Still not banked it yet anyway ! The OH is keeping it in case the loo roll runs out :rotfl:

    Thanks, Silk.

So Gertie, nil desperandum for another 35 days, then. Your compensation cheque comes through a different procedure, so that's a "wait" off your mind, then ! :rotfl:(Alright, it may not be a good one but.................).

And, Silk, that isn't what they meant you to do with the compensation when they sent it in lieu of service ! :rotfl:

2 for the price of one, there...................

There is the running joke about the worth of Zimbabwe dollar being cheaper than buying loo rolls. Silk - you could trade your compensation money for Zimbabwe dollars :D.
Mind you if you wait long enough, the £ might go that way ....EHERM!
  • I was told to expect the compensation to be added to the refund amount and sent back to my card, they never mentioned 35 days or a cheque.

Would at least like to know that it is on it's way, have been emailing customer service for days but no answer.

What they tell you and what you get are two different things. I am sure you will get the money but am equally sure it will be around 35 days plus.

    Hi Gertie,
Its a waste of time emailing them !
They never replied to any of my emails other than an automated reply.
