Good morning all!
Had a quick tidy round a small s&s of the kitchen and my bathroom, will give the kids bathroom a s&s when the bath is emptied in a bit - it's okay, they didn't leave the water in from last night, I've just had a dunk myself! Have popped a sausage casserole in the sc and the sausages are just browning in the moski, will throw them into the sc as well in a bit.
Need to do another tip run with the garden waste, and want to whizz into the shops for a couple of bits, sugar and cheese mostly, and some fruit and juice, also want to visit the jeweller if there's time, I picked up some pretty shells on the beach on hol and want to put one on a chain for each of my girls as a pressie!
Lunch today for the kids was cheese sarnies, yoghurt, apples and a choc muffin.
Dinner for them will be sausage casserole and some kind of pudding yet to be made! Poss steamed sponge pud as it only takes a couple of mins in the microwave!
I am off out to lunch with oh, so probably won't actually need a big dinner, so will just take a snack into work with me for tonight. Last night was my first night back, went quite quickly, but does feel like you haven't ever been away after the first five mins!
Hope everyone has a good day, going to have a quick coffee and catch up whilst I sort out my hair now! xxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

Good morning everyone. Bright and sunny here this morning. Hoping my mood catches up with the weather. Feeling tired and grumpy this morning. One of those days where I don't even want to be around myself.
Not sure what's on the agenda today other than me getting out to the shops. I have cabin fever badly at this point since the only place I've been is to the park with the furbabies since Buttons came to live with us. Plus I need to get more dog food. I'd forgotten how much a big dog eats.
I'm dressed and on my 3rd cup of coffee now having just returned from the park. The furbabies had a good run and romp and saw some of their fur mates too. DH is in the lounge with the tv on while I'm hiding out here.
Not sure if I'll do anything OS today except for our tea. I have no idea what it will be yet. Something from the freezer. I'd like to do some baking today. My biscuit jar is empty and feeling lonely.
Hope those that are feeling poorly are better very soon. Gentle hugs to all who want/need them.
Peyton xxTake the first step.
Even if you cannot see the whole staircase,
Just take the first step.

Morning all, and hugs to anyone who needs them ()
Been watching bits of Dirty Dancing on Youtube, so sad. I loved that film soooo much as a child, I think there is a whole generation of thirtysomethings in mourning today. Plus Keith Floyd, also very sad.
Jobs to do today are baking 34 cup cakes for DS1 to take into school tomorrow as it is his birthday, plus his birthday cake (Liverpool FC themed). Have also just been given about 5lbs of damsons. Will be using some for jam, but want to keep some to make crumbles etc, does anyone know what the best way to freeze them is? Will they be OK frozen raw or should I stew them first?
Anyway, better get on with it or it will be time to collect DD from nursery school!
Have a good day x0 -

A quiet day today for me. I've got my quilting group tonight which I'm looking forward to. Being a SAHM to 2 boys, my quilting group is my sanity time - although I'm not sure how well its working! I've offered to help out at school this year which should be fun.
Ivyleaf - We've never been to New Zealand before. We go in October and come back in November, spending 10days with SIL in Christchurch before travelling up through North Island and flying out of Auckland. This is most definitely a one off, and is due to parents in law paying for our flights. I seem to spend a lot of time every day trying to sort out accomodation etc. Although we're not going in high season, we need accomodation to hold 4 so need to book in advance. I'm getting a little stressed about it all, especially as both kids and DH are slightly accident prone!0 -

Good afternoon everyone
LOL at sistercas - i just noticed your signature very funny
Essex girl - heating on already - what are they mad!!!!
My DD is cooking dinner tonight - we are having spaghetti bolognaise - she is making it with lamb mince - it tastes so much nicer than beef mince for some reason and not that much more expensive at Mr T's--Cost us £2.99 for a pack. - and homemade sauce, with wholemeal spaghetti (nicer than white).
Had to get up for an early appointment (7.40) at the Dr's for a fasting cholesterol test - as I have lumps under my eyes and Dr thinks my cholesterol may be high - and to be honest don't really know anything about cholesterol apart from fatty deposits cause blockages in your arteries - I don't know what foods to eat/avoid and definately don't want to start buying the expensive rubbish they advertise on the TV.
Have bunny indoors at the moment letting him run riot around the living room. One day I'll have him toilet trained LOLSlimming World - SW 156 - CW 152.5 GW 133 - 19.5 lbs to go
