well my [STRIKE]diet[/STRIKE] healthy eating plan (don't use the d word - it curses it) is going well. have managed to meal plan for the last 2 weeks and haven't eaten tooooo many biscuits. it helps that it's not long til payday and the cupboards are looking bare ;).

    Goals for February

  • Don't get online much over the weekend so a little run down on how I'm doing so far:

    1. Pay £500 off debt - (£416 off cards etc and the rest towards overdraft) - ready to pay off £236 on payday next week
    2. Save £500 for holidays/ Christmas/ course I want to do etc - £5 so far :rotfl:
    3. Go to gym class every week - was cancelled this week, will try to make it up next week
    4. Run at least 3 times a week, aim to get up to 10 miles for my weekly long run - only once so far, not been feeling great this week, hopefully get a couple of runs in over the weekend
    5. Do something constructive (apart from work!) every day - yep so far but not sure what today's will be!

Hope everyone has a great weekend :j

Well I've not got off to a good start, but I have listed a few bits and bobs on ebay. Nothing in the pot yet as I haven't been shopping. Haven't had any time to be creative so no cards / prezzies made yet!

    Yay!! Well done you :T
Well, my week hasn't been going too badly...

...Stick to my budget and pay off £700/month on my debts - 2NSD so far, going for a third today
...Do some sort of exercise everyday - been to the gym twice this week but torn ligaments in ankle have flared up again so had to take a couple of days off - going to go for a swim later to try again.
...Cook as many meals as possible therefore reducing my grocery spends -- only ate out last night because we were away in Edinburgh for the evening - parents paid though so didn't cost anything :p
...Go for a monthly horse riding lesson as a treat only if I save the money elsewhere to do it - phoned up to enquire, they are going to phone back with a date for an assessment lesson - so excited!
...Try and find some voluntary work to get involved in my local area - not done anything on this one yet, might make this next weeks task.

    [EDIT]

...spend less time on the internet and more time being constructive - trying very hard with this one. Think it would be a bit easier if was a bit busier at work. Will keep plugging away at it though...

PaP~Just my opinion~but I think would do you npo harm to keep the credit card. You never know when you might need it.

Ahh I guess I could Beanie, after all its not doing anything. I got it because I wanted to order something online and I wasnt sure about the company. All was well but I was stuck with the card with a £2.5k limit  Now its at £300 I think I will leave it open :j

    1) Be more positive about myself/my life... Yeah slowly, just have to keep reminding myself
    2) No spending unless its needed for my day to day living... Well I had to spend £8 yesterday for some new acne cream and some twezzers (the others ones stopped meeting moths ago) although its not the most important things to buy I cant live without them either... :D
    3) Use my time more wisely... Today I have been very productive, work, ebay, cleaning and baking :T
    4) Pay off at least £300 from my debts... Need to pay more today as my paypal money has hit my main bank account :j
    5) Lose 2 stone (28 pounds) in weight... 2lbs down so far, next weigh in on Wednesday
    6) Stick to my eating plan 100%... Yep 100% since and including Tuesday :A
    7) Make at least 4 handmade gifts and sure I have all purchased gifts by the end of November... Changed this slightly since my first post. I was going to make 5 handmade sock monkeys however that idea has gone out the window. So instead I am making 4 chocolate slabs and making sure all purchasd gifts are here by November

    End of week report

    1. Sort out my finances and make the most of the fresh styart, get ready for the OR interview (Not even started on this yet....)

    2. Spend at least one/one half a day of quality time with my partner and not take our time for granted (started a little but its actually harder than I thought, we're both busy bisy bees)

    3. Accept that all offspring have flown the nest and declutter and tidy the big bedroom and move into it (Again, not really started on this........)

    4. Exercise at least three times a week (Nope, not an exercise in sight)

    5. Complete my Christmas shopping (well....... I have made my lists of stuff to get so I might count that!)

    6. Unwrap and use the gift of a slow cooker I had ages ago and return to good old fashioned home cooking (Hey, one I have done! A few meals from this now, and a planned sizzling chili to greet me at home tonight)

    7. Make more of an effort to keep in touch with friends and be social and realise that work has taken over a bit (The friend I got in touch with and we couldn't meet for weeks has just cancelled and now its going to be December. But I did try!)

Well done everyone who has tried, and even thought of trying, we all do the best we can each day, and on other days there's always chocolate
To those who are given much, much is expected
