Dear Sir / Madam,

Username: tartantipster

Please could we have two Forums thus:

1. Gambling Introductory Offer Loopholes
2. Gambling Introductory Offer Loopholes - Chat

Forum No.1 (Gambling Introductory Offer Loopholes) is cluttered and chocked with general chat. Please could you initiate a second Forum, No.2 titled Gambling Introductory Offer Loopholes - Chat. This would ensure that there would only ever be, exclusively: Introductory Offers/Freebets/Reloads/Cashbacks/Promotions/Bonuses/Incentives/Competitions in Forum No.1 meaning those not in need of, or wanting to avoid wading through pages of meaningless banter, could just get straight down to business, whilst making it easier too for Newcomers / Beginners / Amateur Match-Bettors to source the information that they require. Forum Moderators will of course have to monitor this ensuring posts that truly belong in either thread do go there.

All round this will be a super time saver for us money saving experts!

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards, tartantipster.

    good idea mate
  • Good idea. Although I'd maybe call it chat and questions. The questions thread, while a good resource, often has questions buried under weight of posts very quicky.

This way, you'd have one forum for the pure discussion of offers, then another for banter, discussion of the merits of underlaying, questions like how best to maximise 0-0 cashback offers, comparisons of betting computer setups etc.
  • I'm more than happy the way it is. People will open useless chat threads in the wrong place no matter how many different forums there is.

at the moment there is only one bg and mse has no plans to recruit another one. While there are some chat threads,at this moment in time there may be one or two on the front page. All offers have an element of chat to them as users compare their experiences. Sorry,i don't see how having a subforum for 10% of the threads on here would help declutter it.it might make it easier for you but it will be confusing for newcomers and much more work for me.

I agree. I belong to a poker forum that has a a similar split (offers on one board, chat on another). People are just as likely to post on the "wrong" board as the right one so the split just means you have to check both boards all the time.

I'm surprised MSE don't have any plans to recruit another BG. Even assuming that MissK was able to check the board every waking moment that would still leave the board with no BG at all for a chunk of the time. Assuming MissK has as busy a life as most people then MSE will presumably have no BG presence for maybe two-thirds of the time. Considering the amount of spam & other stuff that needs moderating on this board I think it easily warrants at least 2 BGs.

Or Gaming IOL, which would be much more accurate & wouldn't require a change of acronym :)
  • I suppose it's up to posters to cut some of the meaningless chatter - some of the 'freebie's in, mine isn't, mine is, mine isn't yet, should I email them, nah give it another day :-( ' is pointless. I remember a couple of years ago when a great American Football offer had to go to three separate threads because the four or five helpful posts were spread out among 15 pages.

    Wont happen.

Its raison d'etre is as a board for newbies ..... a "do, trouser the cash and go" thing.

Essentially, a noticeboard for people as they work through the offers.

Splitting things over different forums would obviously be confusing for them. So, its simpler and better for MSE generally to have it as it is.

Also, to be fair, it would be impossible to maintain "chat here/dont ever chat there" policies. That cant be done in a single thread so over two forums .. just couldnt work IMHO.
Do you like my medal ?
