hows it going your end ..cooker getting there yet??
I have succumbed to chemical oven cleaner which should be doing it's work, I am taking it off in about 15 mins. The racks are still in the bath but the workmen are in there so I will do those later. I think it will take a while to get it to an acceptable level but I will update when I attack it soon

Mrs B, a detox (she says in her best Lady Bracknell voice). Shocking idea. That was what we were doing right up until you posted on Facebook yesterday. Back on track now, at least until dinner time.

I looked at the living room and went shopping instead. I went to TK Maxx to look for a cast iron casserole dish but sadly they had none. I also went to H&B and did not buy anything. And the B&Q clearance, Triker if you are still looking for a bathroom they have all sorts of toilets and sinks reduced to £10 a pop. Got a lovely antique style bridge tap for the new sink reduced from £130 to £20 which I am rather pleased with.

Tidy the LR or go for a run? I can tidy when the boys get home, but not run unless I buy a treadmill to go with my extensive collection of exercise equipment/clothes hangers.

The compromise is slurp my lovely cofee then HHC 13.20-13.50 then off for HHE. Feel free to join me for all/any of this.

They really are working quickly, the new bathroom window is in, as are all the ones upstairs! Just fascias and wood panelling inside. I may have to move the furniture in the living room at this rate!

Going to get on with a HHC to clean the oven before they try to get in there

    HHC 1.25-1.55 anyone

Not a very long HHC, wiped away oven cleaner and it looks great. It says there is no need for scrubbing but those bits still aren't clean and there wasn't enough on them to get it really clean. I need to wait for the fumes to go for now but I have some other stuff to try on those bits at the bottom and the sides of the oven. Will try later or on Friday

Just look at what you have already crossed off your list today, you are doing really well. Do a couple of quick and easy things, cross them off and then have another break, might spur you on a bit. Don't stop though, it will be so much better to stop this evening and see what you have done. How long till your folks visit?

This size cast iron any use to you, they have other sizes but I don't know if you want round or oval.
