Oh I like the one about the chocolate coins!

Our elf, Mistletoe didn't do anything last night as DD (6) was awake most of the night with earache. I did think tonight I might make her a get well card and pretend that Mistletoe had made it last night but we hadn't found it.

We have some chocolate coins and have banked all her pennies from her money box today. The bank gave me some more money bags for next time, so I think I might bag up some chocolate coins and pretend he was copying us bag up the money!!!

I'm definately going to catch him fishing in the fish tank tomorrow!!! I have had to restrain myself so far from doing this one!

Gosh I love this, why didn't I know about this when my eldest DD (18) was little!
    I :heartpuls M.S.E.

Welcome back Rusty glad to hear your feeling better xx

Last night the elves made a slide out of our ironing board and put glow sticks all over the room ( incase my hubby who went to bed early and didn't know what i was doing fell over the slide!!) thankyou dragonlew.

They left some snowman bathbombs for the kids too.

tonight they've toilet pappered there rooms ( ijust hope noone gets up in the middle of the night as it looks quite ghostly!!)

They've left some santa lolleys and festive bobbles too. Loving reading all the mischief - our elf went fishing last year and it really upset my DD as she thought they were going to try and eat our fish - Peppermint got really told off :rotfl:

Have updated my blog with last nights adventure here off to sew Jolly up as he has a hole in his leg and his bell has fallen off!!
  • Well, Elfie Bell Toes arrived at our house on sunday (sons birthday) and he is going down really well! Our first task was to make him a bed which suprisingly came out really well! Some of the things Elfie has got up to are playing snowball fights with other toys, making snow angels on kitchen table, hanging snowflakes from bedroom ceiling and door, bringing crafty bits for son to do, bought some new vests and xmas cards. Think he will have to do something a bit simple tonight as was up til 1.30 cutting and hanging snowflakes! Some other things he has planned are treasure hunts, reading sons schoolbooks (hopefully encouraging son to do so as well) wrapping things up around the house (tv, ornaments, etc) fishing in fish tank, hiding in fridge, making rice krispie xmas trees, eating chocolates, bringing more gifts and having a movie day on sunday when ELF is on the tele (set a reminder on my sky box but think Elfie had already done it as it was already on there - very magical)!
Wish I'd known about this years ago as son is now 6 and loving it but I know we will only have another couple of years of all this elfing around before he doesn't 'believe' anymore!

Pixie Puckernut has had to have a slight change of name to Pixie Nutnut as DS can't quite get his tongue round the 'P' and says 'F' instead!!! Of course we all laughed and now he keeps doing it!!
She has been up to all sorts of naughtiness - similar to those mentioned and last night she watched DD's nativity recording with her friend Mr Socks - Sockmonkey and had popcorn in front of the tv
Tonight she has left paper chains for the children to do after school!
I am getting quite good at writing using my left hand!!!!

    Happy mischief making!

  • I thought i had left it far too late but am going down the '12 days of christmas' route!
And....funnily enough, as i was reading all your stories i was thinking, hmmmm i'll get hubby to go out and buy an elf this afternoon....I ordered a snowman from ebay a few weeks ago and he never turned up.
Magically enough, just as i was ummin and arrrin the door went and it was a little parcel.....Snowy sugar socks is here!!!!!!! Soooooooo i've spent half the day trying to make a passport which is not very successful, i have a letter to print of from santa, a box which i am about to decorate. I have popped in some bubble wrap for the children to make a sleeping bag, a book, some choccy coins and two little santa playmobile toys. I am also going to make a journal using my cropodile(thankyou to whoever mentioned this!) and cover a cheap bic pen with some glitter! Snowy will be arriving after breakast in the morning and i honestly cannot wait to see the looks on my little ones! THANKYOU!!!!
