I love shake n vac. Anyone know where is the cheapest place to buy.
Just got some for 99p from Aldi but want to know where they sell it regularly for around a £1.MAY GROCERY CHALLENGE £0/ £250

I've just searched for shake and vac on Supermarket Price Comparison website and Waitrose of all places seems cheapest at £1.35 so I'd stick with Aldi whilst they sell it.
I don't buy it myself so I've no idea how much it usually is.

Hi all for cleaning products I use an array of things
not very ms I know but they do last for eva.
I've got loads of flash in spray bottles for sides, bathroom and flooring plus bleach but I got them when it was a cleaning sale in asda And they were all a pound and I had £1 off coupons 4 years ago so they were free I got 50 of each I used some printer ink tho I can tell you.
Since then I have had to buy loo blocks, zaflora and antiseptic solutions 2 4£1 as I clean my back garden down with it where my pooch has been to the loo.
Other than that it's just clothes and bin bags. Oh and dish washer stuffI have dyslexia so I apologize for my spelling and grammar0 -

now this sounds crazy but use hair dye to remove hair dye, rub some fresh hair dye onto the stain that will lift the stain keep scrubbing till it's all lifted then wash it over with hair shampoo ideally anti dandruff. it really does work.0 -
tori-k - now that would take courage to do.
I've got it on painted tiles in our bathroom. This was about 5 weeks ago so I'm guessing I've left it to late to do this.
Tallu - I'm a massive fan of baby oil in my cleaning cupboard and keep a weeny bottle under the sink. It buffs stainless steel up beautifully too and I always use it after I've cleaned my sink unit and to shine my toaster up.MAY GROCERY CHALLENGE £0/ £250

Can anyone help me with my problem... I have a stain on small wood table, it happened after I used a coaster, I think the black dye from the coaster sunk into the table. It'a weird since we always used the coasters over in my dads flat but I used it once on this table and it stained.
Here's a pic:
(So far I've tried furniture polish and isopropyl alcohol)

Apologies if this has been posted before.
I have a ceramic sink with a small middle bowl as well. They both have metal mesh baskets in to protect the ceramic.
I noticed the small mesh basket caused the bottom of the sink to get rust marks. The large basket had feet to prevent this. I got my glue gun out and glued 4 glass marbles underneath the mesh basket to act as feet.Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away. – Hilary Cooper

Hi all you lovely OSers Long time lurking!
I wanted to share a tip for anyone who has 'stuck' french doors. This has been a problem for us for a couple of years, and definitely gets worse once it gets cold and damp. Got a whole lot worse when I was out one day and dh decided to< ahem, sort it by spraying the runners with wd40_ unfortunately he didn't clean first, so any dust that was there became like glue.
I ended up soaking it in a strong, hot washing soda solution and then scrubbing with a toothbrush which got rid of most of the gunk, but eventually they started to stick again.
In desperation one day I sprayed the runners with Stardrops and it is fab!!!!! It now runs so cleanly that it is almost too fast!!!! Yet another wonderful use for Stardrops!Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D
