Spud,
I think it's important to let them know how you feel-perhaps just say while you're all sitting down for tea that 'I know it did look funny but it really hurt my feelings'. Just imagine them doing it to their own partners one day, it isnt nice.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Thanks linda, didn't think to look there!
The fridge is much better, I've just taken a piece of salmon out of the freezer, and all I had to do was open the door, not wedge myself into a small space. I just can't believe I didn't think of doing it ages ago!
Spud, I'm really sorry to hear that. I've kept a couple of small tops for when I lose most of my weight, they're well hidden though so I don't have to worry about coming across them when I'm down and feeling even more crap. Although I'm also keeping a succession of jeans as they get too big, to help with motivation and as a warning not to let myself get so big again.
I had a leaflet through for a gym that's opening in town and it's only £9.99 a month, I think that's cheaper than the council ones. It's just a gym though, no swimming pool. No good to me, but once everything's sorted I want to start swimming, even if it's just for 10 mins a fortnight it'll help.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
you can swap the hinges on most fridge doors so they open from the other side...Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!

Wouldn't have made any difference where it was scaredy,
the whole thing needed turning around
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
