Have you any rice? You could do a ristto with the chorizo and then scatter chunks of mozzarella on top. ALternatively, fry off stuff like onion, pepper, the chorizo, some mushrooms, tin of tomatoes and boil some potatoes. Chuck them all in a dish, dot the top with the mozzarrella and bake.

Bunny, I like chorizo fried up with some olives, sundried tomatoes (or whatever veg is around), mixed into pasta, then you can put the mozarella on top. Had it the other night, it's lush.

Edinburgh (or Newcastle) at Christmas sounds good to me too.

BB, it's really good to see you back, we've missed you.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

ok, good ideas but no mushrooms, no peppers...

I have some italian crisp bread things and I was thinking I may do a kind of brushetta thingy (I bought some pre made stuff from ALDI, my bad) and put the mozeralla on top-or make kind of mini pizzas with them-at least the kids will eat those. Only me and DD like spag bol but I really feel like that tonight...

Tbh, DS just wants pizza and DD would be happy with fish fingers but I want to make something a bit nicer...

  • I have no veg at all. I am utterly brassic until tomorrow.

I have spag sauce, chorzio, moz, mince beef, lots of noodles, no olives (I dont think-may actually somewhere in fridge! )

Keep em coming guys-we'll hit upon something I can do! I have potatoes, normal rice (not risotto rice) canned toms, um, frozen peas?

  • like the bruschetta idea - that would do for me today - I fancy just slobbing in front of the tv tonight. OH mumbled something about having to go out later.

  • I'm freezing!
Mowed the lawn and tried to eradicate the wild strawberries which are suffocating things.
Had pizza and garlic bread with DD2 and now feel all garlicky.
    Feel a bit grumpy today.

Sorry to but in without reading but we have just returned from shopping and in a swirling bit of rubbish near the car was..............

£40:eek: all bundled together, nobody in sight so I guess its ours:D

I do feel bad that some poor soul has lost the £40 but as OH has lost 2 stones in the past few months he needs a complete new wardrobe as nothing fits him at all so it paid for 3 pairs of jeans.

Will go back and read now.......so rude:o
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • Blimey, BB's back. :T:T:T
