    Spud do you not have a council gym nearby? Mine charges £5 to enrol and then £4 per session (1.5 hours) on the equipment and swimming/workouts with trainers from £4 per session. Certainly worth a look as there is no monthly charge. Well in ours there isnt :j

    It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
    We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
    Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    I've been having a clear out, and found a size 12 swimsuit from donkeys years ago (that long ago, I dont even remember being a size 12 :confused:)

    For a laugh, I tried it on. It wasnt pretty, the kids and DH were hysterical laughing.....I just found it upsetting and humiliating, but I didnt let em know how it felt :(
    Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:

    We have one a few miles away Pap, but the swimming is either for schools or lessons at the times I could go :rolleyes:
