It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Linda, yours must be a big centre, when I picked up my sister it was a normal chemist with just one guy doing all the tamiflu stuff. It was so quiet I even had chance to get some advice on my meds!

It looks like sister's got a job. She had an interview yesterday and was told off the record that she's the only one being interviewed for it, and one of the guys on the interview panel told her he thought she had it (but he was a tech not management). So fingers crossed for her! It shows her how different we are though, her first priorities are getting an expensive haircut and buying a better car. She wants a BMW Z, but it'd be a 12 year old one (older than the car she's got now), which I don't see the point of. But it's her life. Nowadays I just don't see the point of materialism, although as yesterday's big pile of stuff to ebay shows I used to!

Toto, have you heard of Pete Turner?

We were talking yesterday about a meet, I wondered if there's anywhere with a christmas market. All I know of is York (which is expensive) and Lincoln (which is hard to get to). A Scottish one'd be brilliant though.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

  • I hate housework.

I am going to pay someone to clean my house when I am out of debt. FACT.

Funny you should say that! The only thing I can't find is my tall pink shiny mug. Ex always used to say he couldn't tidy up because I wouldn't be able to find anything, but you and Becky completely reorganised my kitchen and that's the only thing I can't find! I've figured out what the difference is - you two have common sense. So I look around, think 'where's the logical place for it' and voila, there it is! When ex did stuff, it was 'where is it. where the hell is it. where the **** is it. I'm gonna have to phone him to ask where it is'.

I have a bit of a dilemma now. Yesterday I pm'd someone on here saying that I need some handyman jobs doing, and since she's having difficulties and her husband's a handyman could he give me a quote. But now I've carried on reading her post, and they haven't really had their lbm. They're coming up with excuses for why they can't change things. So do I go ahead and pay extra to him than I could get it done locally (I might even be able to get my dad to do it for free) since I've already asked, or not. I don't really want to pay extra when they haven't really had their lbm, because I don't think it'd really be helping them. In fact, it'd add to their reasoning of 'something always comes up to sort itself out'.
