Manual reversion, it's a good point to raise. I really really don't know the answer to that but considering the other properties we've looked at, in the same price range and above, this house (along with the rest on the street obviosly) are in a nice area and not slap bang in the middle of a council estate. The location is good compared to toher villages around Bradford and generally the house is in better condition than any of the other houses we've seen.

So I guess we are taking a risk, but I guess looking at other properties on the street it would be fair to say this house looks better tended to than the rest of the street, bar none. The gardens and the condition of the garage are a dead giveaway. Compare the first and the second houses, remember that the first house vendors would only accept the asking price and nothing less. That's only £7,500 less than we've offered for the nice house that doesn't need ripping apart!

Carlos mate, not a clue about the bike. It's big, blue and makes one hell of a noise. I don't do bikes lol (that's why I'm letting him keep it, he can !!!!!! off and leave me in peace every now and then :-)

    Bit defensive aren't I? lol
Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)

Really really don't know. Have only seen it twice. Maybe a Suzuki, I'm not sure.

I've only seen it twice. It's in his parents garage because we have don't have so much as a back yard to put it on. He's only started it up once and my ears haven't stopped ringing since. :-)

    POST EDITED: It's a Suzuki SV1000s.

    OK with you? :-)

They've been thinking about it since Thursday and it's killing us. We want to know one way or the other, yes or no. Are we just being impatient?
Have you considered making your offer provisional? That is, say your offer is made on the understanding that they answer you by (date/time) and remove it from the market immediately etc? Yours will seem like more of a genuine offer if you appear to know what you are doing...

Be confident. After all, what you are offering is a LOT of money!

    Good luck.
Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD!

The EA called last night. Apparently the vendors haven't found anywhere yet so they are stopping marketing the house so they don't have any more viewings or offers, but our offer is still on the table, and the EA say that the vendors have accepted it, in principle.

Is this unusual, or does it have something to do with the vendors being cash buyers, which I know they are? I'm getting a little bit worried now. Help and advice most welcome at this point! Should we walk away and find somewhere else?

    Hellllllllp!!

Still don't know whether the vendors are playing with us or whether they are still serious. I don't expect the truth from estate agents because they're all about the money but the EA did say they were going to stop marketing the house yet it is still on their website and on others. Not happy, but OH doesn't seem bothered. I want to know if this is unusual, or whether anyone has been through this and what the outcome was?

At my wits end again :-(
