. We are generally a friendly bunch so feel free to chip in with your stories, trouting experiences and of course any coupon finds.
Didn't have time for a shop last night but called in to Customer Services to extend my Strongbow, etc £5. I didn't even have to ask her - she said they had stock this morning at 08:30 but she had been doing the price guarantees all day :rotfl:. She said she was going to ring head office and give them a piece of her mind. They did seem to go a bit daft with the till spits on this one - I had 7
She extended it to 30th Sept.If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -

Good morning everyone.
My son got semi trouted last night.
He went to the Mr T's he uses every couple of days and as he only had 5 items he went to the quick till (as usual). He had 5 moc's in his hand and the SA spotted them and said she cannot take coupons on a quick till.
He moved to another till and as soon as he handed his coupons over a supervisor appeared asking to look at the coupons, as she had seen him use coupons before. There was nothing wrong with the coupons and she handed them back to him and they went through OK.
Hope its not going to continue as he uses this store every few days:(
I wish a supervisor would come to my till everytime....s/he could check dates and things and speed up the whole service by a few seconds, rather than an inexperienced SA having to do it.:beer:It's nice to be nice .....

if you live 20 miles away from your nearest t's that is coupon friendly and you dont drive where do you put your shopping after the first time around
As mentioned before on this or the last thread my son has been ill and in hospital, he is now out but still on the sick so he took me yesterday in the car but this is not a regular thing. My partner is able to drive at the weekends so usually I am only able to shop on a Sat.2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494

Perhaps he was just being helpful, and was going to suggest that if the bags or trolley were too heavy, then someone could help you to the car next time
Yes, hopefully you are right, but it just made me feel embarrassed. To be fair I think I may have drawn attention to myself because on entering the store I walked with the empty trolley right to the end of the store so as to collect the coke/lemonade bottles first and also to pick up a couple of boxes of Strongbow with my till spits. This was purely so these items would be at the bottom of my small trolley and then I put the lighter items on the top.
When all said and done, compared to what some people go through on here, I suppose this isnt really a big deal and will make me treble check dates etc etc to ensure my coupons are all legitimate and the coupon policy isnt compromised.2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494

I WENT TO MY NORMAL CA TODAY AS I DO EVERYDAY, AND WAS TOLD IM SORRY I CANT TAKE THE NORMAL 10 MIXED COUPONS AS I ALWAYS DO, IM NOW ONLY ALLOWED TO TAKE 1.
I FELT THE BLOOD DRAIN FROM MY FACE IN SHOCK. SO I PAID AND ACCEPTED WHAT SHE SAID.
WHEN I GOT HOME I PHONES THE STORE WHERE I WAS TOLD YOU CAN ONLY USE COUPONS IF YOU BUY THE ITEM, I ASKED THEM TO CHECK AND SHE SAID ITS ALWAYS BEEN THAT WAY. I DISAGREED AND SAID WELL IVE BEEN USING 10 EVERYDAY WITH PERMISSION UPTIL NOW.SHE PUT ME ON HOLD FOR WHAT SEEMED LIKE FOREVER THEN COME BACK AND SAID YOUR ONLY ALLOWED TO USE ONE. I THEN QUOTED THE NATIONAL POLICY FOR WHICH SHE SAID YES THATS RIGHT IF YOU BUY 10 ITEMS YOU CAN USE 10 COUPONS.
I WISH THEY WOULD ALL STICK TO THE SAME VERSION OF THE STORY.

Thought seeing as I have read other peoples opinions regarding the £6.89 pedigree moc, would now add mine;)
I agree with the majority that it should be kept off the front page due to the fact it could be abused/sold on e bay. If it goes the same way as the huggies and goes onto couponnet where there is a limited print then I see no problem with it going on the front page.
A quick uk ebay search of "NSS MOC" offers loads of coupons. You may recall that a thread or two ago I put "adverts" for this thread on ebay.
I advised buyers on ebay NOT to buy coupons but to see what they could get here and on PTS for free.
At that time, we only had couponnet and pdfs and not the readily abusable smart coupons!
On hindsight, that was perhaps a mistake:o, and sent some of the buyers onto here, with a greed as opposed to Money Saving mind-set.
My current thoughts (and this is likely to change with further information....or perhaps even with the weather;):rotfl:) are that ebay has a mixed bag of legitimate/dodgy coupons; and that the legitimate ones, can sometimes be a huge cost saving on time/ink, if got at the right price, but potentially disastrous if they turn out to be copies , with the same PIN being sent to other buyers around the country too. It's nice to be nice .....

I suppose if this is the norm for most stores now, we have to all ensure our coupons are in date, are for products actually sold by T etc etc so as not to give them any cause for complaint.2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494
