I visited a Tescos which accepts internet coupons and to my dismay and shock noticed a Tesco employee (and their family) who works at my local store (which dont accept internet coupons) using multiple £2 magazine coupons (and not buying the actual mags) in the SAME transaction, per family member.

We have been advised, and can understand the reason why we should not use unless buying these magazines, due to limited sales.

It just goes to show you that SOME (not all) Tesco’s staff can be the worst culprits for coupon abuse. I can foresee problems at this store with internet coupons if this continues. We know who to blame if internet coupons are stopped at this store.
i'm surprised there wasn't an eagle-eyed team leader/trout waiting to stop them! i mean if it was a family and they used one each on separate transactions thats fine, but what was the point of using them all together??? my store won't allow split shops anyway.

Hi everyone!:) Quite a few pages to catch up...:p

Tonynotts if staff continue abusing the use of coupons it's not only the internet MOCs that are in danger of extinction but any coupon if the product hasn't been purchased... this is what happened at a store I used to shop a year ago...:(

Bulgariafairy, unfortunately when staff are concerned some of their colleagues turn a blind eye and this is how the coupon abuse carries on...:(

    Hi everyone

Just got back from Mr T's but why do I feel that Ive robbed a bank. I admit I actually went through the till twice as it is actually easier for me to go in twice when I am on my own - packing etc, obviously using two lots of legitimate coupons so it is more financially better too, but whilst at the till the second time a young T's assistant came up to me and asked me why I had gone around twice. I wasnt sure what he was getting at but he said it was nothing to do with the coupons. I asked him if it was a problem and he said "no" you can come in as many times as you like, I asked if the coupons were ok and he said they were fine.

I think he was meaning why dont you put all the coupons together and just shop the once. As result although I am pretty thick skinned I still feel perhaps I should only shop the once from now on. The only reason I do a multishop is that the nearest T's that takes coupons is about 20 miles from my home and I dont drive so cant visit more than once or maybe twice a week.:confused:

if you live 20 miles away from your nearest t's that is coupon friendly and you dont drive where do you put your shopping after the first time around :confused::confused::confused::confused:

Perhaps he was just being helpful, and was going to suggest that if the bags or trolley were too heavy, then someone could help you to the car next time:confused:

Thought seeing as I have read other peoples opinions regarding the £6.89 pedigree moc, would now add mine;)
I agree with the majority that it should be kept off the front page due to the fact it could be abused/sold on e bay. If it goes the same way as the huggies and goes onto couponnet where there is a limited print then I see no problem with it going on the front page. I see it (rightly or wrongly) as a kind of reward to those who contribute to the thread by either posting/finding the mocs/helping out or just generally take the time and trouble to see what the latest information is.
I personally think that the people who are finding the mocs post them to help others to save money not for the benefit of the lurkers to abuse or sell on e bay and some people would rather not post a moc than have their local policy changed to no mocs.
    Obviously just an opinion,
Maybe we could have a week long poll for this kind of thing and then the most popular opinion is carried, save it being blamed on the decision of one person:confused:
Sorry to give more work (if it is agreed to do it this way) to PC especially when she is so busy and is still managing to do such a great job in keeping the first page up to date.:T:T:T:A:A:A
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
