You mean it's not a typo?0 -
ONW unfortunately not, I have a friend who was a bit bored so decided to do an HND in tourism, she was a surveyor but was a bit bored measuring roads, and did her HND at the college I am studing at. With absolutely no disrespect to you littlepink, she found herself doing surveys about where people spent their holidays, that sort of thing.
Believe me, having now entered the Scottish education system, I see all aspects - I'm continuing with my OU studies as I'm not entirely sure I want to go to uni and have steam coming out of my ears each day!0 -

We never done anything like that in HND, we had tour guiding, tour costing, influlences on tourism, scottish history, providing information on the scottish tourism industry...cant remember the names of the other classes.
Enchanting visitors, is mainly about how to get tourists to go to places, and what attracts them there.0 -

I was a lecturer in T&T for many years but I've never heard of a module called "enchanting visitors" before.
What university are you hoping to go to - you'll find the older ones far more to your liking.0 -
Either Dundee or Stirling, to study English & History. Stirling is my preference as Dundee Uni, whilst having a great English department, doesn't seem to have as good a reputation as Stirling.
However, if my ear infection doesn't clear up and I get into my books then I won't be going anywhere - two weeks now of being deaf!
I love studying, I'm the type of person that buys books on the Industrial Revolution and reads them for fun, I'm lucky in that I've a financial cushion so I can do whatever I want with my life!0
