I'm playing with those links right now - I'm still on the old computer and its very slow.

Mr Benn - I *think* I'm showing my age here (or, if it was on in my 20s, my drunkenness :eek:) because I have no idea what its about; enlightenment, anyone? Anyone?

I'm off work :j:j:j I might have mentioned that before.

I have a long list to do - cleaning the office, where the floor was laid, some christmassy and food shopping, wrapping and posting, the launderette for the newly single duvet, craft-type preparations for the Christmas tree, which I'm still determined to do, and - :jMaking A Christmas Pudding - which I've never done before _pale_:eek::D

Hmm, that link doesn't work - but I found the original - you *might* have seen a bit of partial around 9am, but ... not much, basically. I'm more interested now in what the dickens you're going to do to get to Pippi - off to yours and Pippi's thread.

I didn't see it. When it was 3am and I still wasn't asleep, I cancelled the alarm.

No worries re: PM, I know you are very busy!

It's great that you are cracking on with getting the house sorted and making it into your home. Also you are doing well with getting to know your local area and thinking about a social life and building up local friendships too. They are so important.

I empathise on the Christmas/family thing. I have taken to spending Christmas with friends who have adopted me as one of their own. I shall be going over to my mother's for the day on Boxing Day and if any of the rest of the family turn up too, I shall be delighted to see them. I'm just not interested in all the arguing and falling out that has to happen in the four weeks before Christmas each year - life's too short to fall out over a few days!

I started well, with the linedancing, but then got ill again - I'll have to take it slowly, cos of health, but I *will* pay attention - there's an amateur dramatic show locally in mid January, and I'll go to that, maybe join the company as I used to - extras roles, and behind the scenes work, are fab!

The more I hear, the more I understand I'm not alone in this! Its not scenes and accusations in our case - its feeling drained and exhausted (and ill too, for some of them).

I'm still wandering about finding addresses and stamps.... partly its because of the housemove and getting laid but it doesn't help, for instance, that my brother's address was in my 2008 diary ...
