  • How sad for your sister - good that she has support from you though.

It's bitterly cold out there - car thermometer said -4C when I went out but it felt colder. Tramped round collecting Avon books - half the flipping customers hadn't left them out so got to go back but couldn't be bothered to door knock to chase them up as was too cold and just wanted to get home! :D Anyway I make your decision to stay in if possible the right one for sure!

Glad to hear you sounding so much more full of beans though - that's excellent. I realised last night that I'm only really coughing now when I'm tired, and then it's not a proper cough, just a nasty, annoying, whingey little one - so will make the effort to get some earlier nights and hopefully that will see the last of it off.

Hi Dragon! How you doing, sweetie?

Thanks EH. Yes, it shouldn't be the way it is, it really shouldn't.

You must get *so* cold doing that! I think I have to go out Thursday for the shops, and Friday for Sainsbury, the forecast looks a few degrees warmer.

Thats what I'm like right now - I've got this throat-clearing little cough - whingey! yes! - if I talk too much, or don't drink enough. Very annoying - Am splurging on goodnessy multivits and all things supplementy at the moment :) I really hope you feel better soon - its so horrible for it to be dragging on like this

    Dragon's sig is *so* wonderful!

I've done the paid work, and tried to connect the tv signal booster - but I've got two female (or is it two male?) connecty things - need to get an adapter, I'll look for a specialist type shop here on Thursday. So today, bit more cleaning, bit more decluttering, bit more tea :D

    :santa2: Cooeeeeee!

Brrrrrrrr, its been cold today, even with the sun shining. Take care on the ice.

You are doing fab getting organised and everything! It really sounds like its all coming together and getting paid work too.

For the TV you will just need a basic adapter, if you can't get out try ordering online from Maplins, just remember the male connector is the one that sticks out ;) (((((((((ducks and runs for cover as Z appears :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)))))))))

Hope you get your signal booster thingy working. That was one of the problems why we can't have freeview here, I know everyone says its very :money:but for me, I'd have had to buy a booster, and have a new aerial fitted, because we are in a rubbish area. Without sky or the like, we only get 3 channels, and the Welsh version's of things at that.

It was -9 when I left this morning, its warmed up a bit now to quite a pleasant --3!
