    - 2.5 hours paid work.
just about to do the first hour, next one isn't till this evening.

    - finish the LED lights thing - I hate having too many projects on the go, so thats urgent.
fitted the batteries - that was an effort! - got to wait till nightfall to see where best to put them.

    - bit of vacuuming and whatnot, to make the place look respectable for work.
nope. Almost too late now - I might have to run around and pick bits up by hand

    - I have time now to pop to Sainsbury, for my own stocks, for foodie presents, and for the making of more birdie fatballs (vegetarian this time :rotfl:)
done! Spent about £30 - Xmas pud makings, normal stuff, foodie pressies. There were announcements of apologies about the wait at the tills - I think most of the town that wasn't in work at that moment was stocking up

    - phone calls and arrangements: *must* ring the floor layer, and must ring the NHS secretary of my consultant, find out whats what.
nope. Had a phone call and a builder visit in the time I'd allocated, so almost no go, but left a message with the consultant, at least.

    - I'd like to do - I'd like to have done some cleaning, otherwise I'm left with an awful lot to do immediately before the holidays, but because I loathe it so much, its kind of unlikely :p
    absolutely not :rotfl:

Not bad, actually - tho for my own sanity, in what's left of this afternoon, I have to do those phone calls.

You seem to have got a bit of your energy back.

Re: the LED lights, if they are the stick on type, be careful where you place them. I had some from IKEA which I put under my cupboard near the kettle, but the steam from the kettle loosened the adhesive. I just bought some sticky pads from Wilko's and just keep sticking them back up.:D

I did ... after I posted, I felt decidedly iffy - think I've been doing too much, and I caught myself thinking "I don't have time to go see Harry Potter 7 the way I wanted" - so I'm nipping that in the bud, and I *will* go see it. Before Christmas. And I will find a way to get more sleep, I'm sure thats whats making me feel bad and making me vulnerable. Next to that, the cleaning and building work is so unimportant...

They are, you're right gill - fortunately, they're not near the kettle, its a little corner next to the cooker where I'll do chopping and whatnot.

I was just on your thread. .... only just got online, I had the builder here showing the plumber around. Getting the office straight is going to be very tight, but hopefully its still do-able.

Quite tough yesterday in the end, I was helping my sister with some fallout from her husband's death, felt very sad ... difficult times - so I just slobbed last night after I worked.

However, we have to pick up and move on ... but I'm not going out today in that cold, I don't think it would be right. Still plenty I can do in here, thats light - I need to get the tv booster signal gadget working, for instance. I need to have another cup of tea .... that sort of thing :D

  • (()) for your family and you

Kettle on here - washing machine whirring - OK not cheap electricity but there's something so wonderful about a whirring machine - homely maybe.

Hope you get sorted out - and another hug for good measure!
