Well, enforced house rest is probably a good thing!
Hope you've recovered from yesterday, or you do today at least! Hooray for walnuts! :T

Thanks guys, I will .... just about to have some brekkie .... I have a sneaky sense that I can do the shelves on either side of the cooker today .... there's a piece of wood lurking in the pantry thats just right for the support thingy at the back (I'm going to experiment with photographing each stage and putting it on the blog) - well, I have to do something
and I want this bit of storage sorted so that when the DVD tower arrives next week, I can really get things going and get the pantry sorted too.
Like the diary says - to infinity and beyondthough I never knew that would apply to kitchen storage :rotfl:

Its a handy phrase - good luck!! Good for you to photograph it - sometimes it really spurns you on as well - I love photographing things in stages

Thanks Pippi! I tried to sleep, but no go with a delivery expected between 7am and 7pm
so I went downstairs, and sawed the two supports for the first cupboard, the wider one - and they fit! I'm near exhaustion point, tho, and in a lot of pain from the A (my new description
) so I have to stop. Good to know that my concept of it was right, and that it actually works. I'll take photos and glue the supports in place this afternoon - I thought I'd need some plastic wood to get the level of the supports right, but on this cupboard, anyway, they're spot on, I'm dead chuffed.

Well done on your shelving.
And thank you for my little card. Nice surprise to get 'personal' post.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

You're very welcome
Almost half the shelving is up, I had to stop for good - I've also been thinking about the pantry shelves in all this, I can chuck the silly sticky out one, and put lovely old table wood I rescued from my last house (from Paddy's Market on the Dock Road
) in as shelves - I'll have to cut them down a few inches, is all, but thats okay. I'll gain about 20% more useable space from that alone, but lessening the width will also mean I can fit storage in at 90 degrees. Its all good.
Stopped now, anyway - the free view box is here, waiting to be installed, I actually cooked my tea - and even cooked some apples - somebody had left out a box of apples for anyone to take, so I took two - the skins looked disgusting, but the flesh is absolutely beautiful, so I'm a very happy camper.

Well you've had a productive couple of days then!
Mind you don't do too much though and set yourself back again, or you just know we are ALL going to tick you off, don't you! Glad to hear you got that herbalist appointment sorted too.
