Hi Taxi! The list about the pantry shelves, that'll take me till about Wednesday, I think - I've got 2.5 hours paid work today, so I have to be very careful what else I do - nothing else physical today, I think.
The doctor - joining a GP is on my list of things to do - tried on Friday but the office was closed; remember that I've had this checked twice in the last two years. I do have a herbalist appointment for next week, so that will help, and I'm working hard on my nutrition.
Just had a cancellation for tomorrow, so it looks like I'll be able to get to the rheumatology department for those X rays finally - I think thats much more important than a repetitive visit to a GP, quite frankly, so I'm a happy bunny.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Sounds like a fun night and glad you had a good sleep! I'm loving hearing about how you're getting organised with the house and using things to make the space how you want itDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

A new gp is a good idea..as they may know what it is.or do you know whats causing it.0

Thanks! I've never really done it this way before, I've just sort of made the best of things as they were and put up with it. In moving here, I decided I was worth living in a nice place
so things are going to be as nice as I can make them. Not perfect, not yet
but pretty good! I don't think, now, that I'm going to be able to get the new vinyl down in the living room before Christmas, not the way the timetable's looking, but thats the only thing that'll get missed, so thats not too bad at all.

Fab news on the shelves KC! :T and hooray for getting your house sorted the way you want
(I reckon just sling those inessential kitchen items)
I'm learning to check back at the goal lists right along with you:rotfl: Don't really have a choice right now if I want to finish this PhD (FINALLY!) and stay sane at the same time!

5. Un pack the two boxes in the bottom - I've labelled them "inessential kitchen items" so god knows whats in them :rotfl:
Aubergine peeler?
Melon baller?
Mushroom stuffer?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

"inessential kitchen items" - while I was away last week my DS made himself chips. While looking for what he called a 'proper spud peeler' he opened a spare drawer and managed to find the 'crinkle chip cutter' that has moved with me from house to house, but only ever gets used when he digs it out. And then finds its way back in a drawer again.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

:rotfl: yep, thats about the size of it - a little plate for fresh olives, with a side area for the stones... a shot glass from Cape Kennedy ... a Father Christmas jug from when I was little .... In the meantime, I found *three* little boxes of turmeric - one of which had a Best Before date of April 2005  I decided to throw that one. And the 2007 one ... I think I used to buy things for the storecupboard and just, you know, keep them in the storecupboard :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Oh you've got to keep them KC!
Sounds like things are shaping up nicely and the games evening sounds like a hoot!0 -
Yeah, they're not really rubbish, they're just infrequent. The only thing I've never used was a present - one of those single cup teapots, that sits over its own cup and saucer, do you know what I mean? I've never had it out of the cupboard, even, I wonder if I could pretend it got bust in the move ... am I evil to think that ?2023: the year I get to buy a car0
