Difficult work today ... I'm absolutely shattered, and felt terrible - past tense - went out after I'd finished, just as the sun was going down, and immediately felt better. As oceanspirit has advised, I *must* get out during the daylight hours - working at home and not feeling well, its really easy to let that slip, but it does help - unless you pop in to Boots to check out vitamins, and meet up with an assistant who has a really intense cold grrrr - I left without buying anything, hope I haven't picked up her germs. I won't go into any shops I don't have to at the moment
Still, nice and warm here, I'm going to spoil myself with pesto tonight, yummy, and watch a dvd.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

*(((((((KC))))))) pah to shop assistants with nasty colds!
How sensible to get outside for a bit every day. Really does make a difference - I suppose even if you just sit on a bench rather than actually *walking* anywhere!0 -
:eek::eek: I'm not sitting still in this weather :rotfl: Its been very clear today, so its absolutely freezing outside :rotfl: Just 15 minutes helps the old vitamin d along and whatnot, and tells you you're not an alien from another planet (oh, is that just me?) :cool:2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Glad you're feeling better, it is good to get out in the fresh air. Cold and crisp days are ideal for that. Enjoy your DVD.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Just been watching Pride of Britain Awards on TV and one boy (whose mum was diagnosed with MS) researched MS and realised sunshine was a preventative so he campaigned the Scottish Goverment so fiercely that they agreed to do research into the benefits of Vitamin D

The benefits of Vitamin D/Sunshine seem to be so important for many things.0 -
Love a brisk walk in the sunshine. I find that when I feel quite low and sluggish it really wakes me up and perks me up. My friend is convinced I suffer SAD because I always get ill at this time of year, really tired and listless. This is also the time of year that my Menieres really seems to bother me. Why did nobody ever tell me that when I hit 40 my body would start giving up?Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. There is definitely something in that, or its the fact that sunshine helps with other things.
